Kyubi Intelligence?

With the latest release of Naruto, Kishi (imo) has given us a brief insight into the intelligence of the Kyubi....

In these pics from the manga, the kyubi seems to know what the seal is and immediately breaks it before it can take over... Where as before it didn't seem to mind the necklace. This forces me to think that the kyubi isn't as mindless as once thought...Maybe that it is learning?

And before you all go and start trying to crucify me. YES
i know the kyubi has talked and showed a great deal of intelligence. This however is it's true form(sealed in the leaky basement inside naruto xD).

Whenever naruto tapped into the kyubi power he has always become more animal like, both in appearance and thinking process. (Not to say naruto is the sharpest tool in the shed to begin with ) But the more power the less thinking ability he has, With this latest tail additions it starts to think more...

Also we see that the kyubi chases after only pein, and doesn't attack just anything. Or try to show off it's colossal power. Unlike in his other transformed stated (4 tails) where he attacked anything that moved.

Don't know abt others...QB is intelligent and so was Shukaku..When we saw him first...But regarding others, Deidara once said Capturing 3tails was quite easy as it lack intelligence.....

This is leading to my next theory.

To briefly go over it. A bijuu intelligence is based on it's host.

Notice that all bijuu that didn't have a host were dumb (to be frank) and the Ones with a host were not only smarter but stronger?

I feel that a bijuu cannot fully use it's power without a host and a host cannot fully control a bijuu unless the bijuu has full access to all it's chakra/ intelligence.

A bijuu's intelligence (imo) is directly related to the amount of their own chakra (tail) that they can access.

This is why the nine tails is not only the strongest but the smartest.

I'll go one step further and say since the orignal sealing of all 9 bijuu by shodaime is in fact reason why some Bijuu can be controlled and some can never fully be controlled.

I wont say anymore until my research is complete.

Good deductive reasoning!

In the case of normal bijuu they don't have different levels. They start off with all their tails, which is all their power. Which is why they are so unintelligent. To much power flowing around i suppose (think Broly). But if they have a host who can channel that power for a purpose (Killer Bee) they are stronger and appear more intelligent.

The nine tails is an extreme exception. He (bijuu) is the smartest and strongest. But due to him being sealed twice.(First by shodaime then the Fourth correct me if im wrong). He has lost the ability to control his own power. Notice only when naruto is extremely angry the fox power is @ it's strongest.

When he he borrows the power he cannot do the awesome carnage he known for when complete pissed.

This is what i believe

Shodaime's seal gave the bijuus the ability to merge with a human host. The host was the brain and bijuu was the brawn. Making the ultimate weapon.

When the fourth divided the Nine tails chakra in twain, only leaving the yin to naruto. This division of chakra doesn't allow the nine tails leak out the seal, as well as utilize all his chakra. Thus based on my earlier theory making him less intelligent and weaker.

That all ties to this: It is Naruto's own yang (evil side [really his aggression]) side that allows the kyubi to almost fully function. Naruto is makes the Kyubi strong.

This theory would also explain why Killerbee pass from the chakra cloath (meaning raw power and consciousness) to the full 8 tailed beast (which mean bijuu intelligence and most powerful form).

i think naruto has a role in this matter..

1. naruto knows that wasn't the real pain, and by defeating him he would get to the real pain.
2. after struggling a little bit against god realm he might have noticed he had to use kyuubi's powers.
3. hinata's ''death'' has played a role as leading it to anger for naruto to unleash his powers.
4. I don't see the kyuubi taking that necklace and destroying it out of nothing at all.

What i'm trying to get at is that naruto IS actually kind of controlling. If i look at the way he attacks pain and the stance he is holding in battle, it shows me more sign of naruto's fighting style..

Remember naruto never could controlle himself really at all before when the kyuubi took over.. he was just attacking recklessly..for example vs orochimaru he put his hands in the ground and tried to attack oro from below with his hands.. u know like expanding his arms..
but this time he even went fist to fist in some familiar way.
here take a look at this..i just can't belive the kyuubi would fight in such a way..

i understand you theory, but i would like to add that the fox is very smart, but i think that naruto is in more control then we think, i believe he and the fox will marge once naruto regains focus. The fox has already offered the deal, and now the seal is broken, a deal must be made or the fox will remain in control or pain will remove it, naruto cannot stay in his current form for extended periods of time. A deal must and will be made

thats some pretty good theory but i believe that part of that is right and wrong maybe some of the buji are not intelegent but brute strengh and some are more intelegent than strengh maybe? cause it could be different aspects that a buji has like humans abilities in different areas? could be a possible theory aswel

well my friend that pledge was made with respect to yamato and the mis-understandings of the village that naruto cares with him. He has been told all his life that the fox was evil, bad, and everything else. So it makes sense that naruto be fearful of the fox. But that fear is ignorance, you can run from your demons for only so long.

i wouldnt say that naruto is in control,i would on the other hand say that this resembles a kind of collaboration between the kyuubi and naruto,,with them both having similar "goals" at the moment they both understands that they need each other and go after pein "together"..
