Honestly, Naruto is strong as shit; but he isn't ready to be Hokage. I think Kakashi would actually be a better choice for Hokage. He isn't weak (even though he isn't as strong as Naruto) and he definitely qualifies in every other category needed to be Hokage. Naruto may have "The Will of Fire" but he is still too dumb and still too young.

I know Gaara is young too, but he is definitely more mature, and much older mentally than Naruto is. Being Kage isn't just about power, its also about running an entire village. Is Naruto capable of that? I don't think he is ready yet.

Right now, Naruto is one of the strongest ninja in the anime right now, pretty much strongest in his village. But does that mean he should be Hokage? What is required of an Hokage. Lets see.

A Hokage is generally like a manager at a job. There job is to manage the village In many different ways. From giving out missions, to handling village alliances, etc etc.This requires someone to have proper management skills, a smart mind that can solve issues without being hot headed, and dedication. Naruto has some of those skills, but what he is lacking is the management skill. Naruto is far from capable to run a village. He has no strategy, to hot headed, effectively making foolish mistakes on the battle field time after time again, and right now is too young and immature.

Does he deserve to be Hokage, at some point yes he does. But right now no. Even if he saved the world from madara and the ten tails, he is not ready to lead an entire village. Strength wise he can be the militaries pride and joy, one of the strongest soldiers on the field. But right now that is it. But in time, I feel kishi will have naruto mature enough in the future to be up to par for the title of Hokage

He's not quite there just yet. Maybe if he had Shikamaru or Kakashi as advisors then it's possible. The one thing holding Naruto back is that we've never seen him lead or make a decision that has consequences for someone other than him. Even A being a hot head has shown the ability to make sound judgements under pressure. Lastly Itachi told him best he has to learn how to trust the strength of his comrades before he ever becomes Hokage.

Naruto was starting to forget his friends before this and because of Itachi, Naruto didn't try fighting Juubi, Madara, and Obito alone. I'd love to see Konoha 11 and Sasuke come to Naruto's aid to fight Madara and Juubi. Naruto + Sasuke = Rikudou Sennin where Naruto = Rikudou's body and Sasuke = Rikudou's eyes. After that, they'll have their final, epic fight.

Naruto has the strength and skill in battles, but he doesn't have the ability to make decisions for others as someone else mentioned before me. Once Naruto learns that skill of making decisions for others like the Raikage, he's deserving of becoming Hokage.
