isnt it obvious? Orochimaru used Kabuto to bring Madara back to life, Madara awakens the Juubi and Orochimaru suddenly doesnt care about there plans anymore. Its obvious his using them as a decoy to complete his plans. And why did Orochimaru give Madara Mokuton?

Madara is being ignorant, and he will pay the big price for that.
