Exactly. They're letting characters tell them who's stronger and who isn't when it can be misleading. Kabuto himself stated that he's the strongest person alive and that the Uchiha are nothing, yet he was defeated by the Uchiha.

I go with Ancient man(Hiruzen). All other Hokages(not sure all kages) died at a very young age. I put experience over everything else. We all heard that in his prime he was godly but never seen it.

In this picture Hiruzen is seen volunteering to be the sacrifice. You see him saying he's the best out of all of them. Not sure if he included the second hokage or not but he said it in front of him, and Tobirama did not disagree.

I think it's this reason Tobirama chose Hiruzen to be Hokage, because Hiruzen had the attributes to be Hokage, laying your life for the protection of your comrades and village. Seeing this, Tobirama was happy to die for his students and village. You also bring up a good point, Hiruzen said he was the best out of all of them and Tobirama didn't disapprove. He didn't say "I'm the best out of us except the Second."

Of course.. If he said Hashirama is nothing.. then that means Hashirama is nothing..... Nothing we can do about it. now is there?

Oh, I didn't know Madara is Naruto's creator, decides the plot and all that. Thanks for letting me know. Madara is the real writer, not Kishi. I'll spread out this wonderful news to the world.

People base that Hashirama is stronger than everyone else just because Madara said so. I can say Hiruzen is the strongest Hokage because Iruka said so, I'm using the same logic and that kind of logic fails. Even Kabuto stated the Uchiha are nothing to him and I can say that he's the strongest from everyone fighting from the manga, but the manga shows why that logic fails. Find a better argument for why Hashirama is the strongest.

- He was able to defeat the strongest Uchiha
- His Kekkei Genkai, the Mokuton, was able to deal with Madara's Perfect Susanoo
- Just like Tsunade, he was able to heal himself without using hand-seals

But we can agree on that A>B>C logic doesnt work here. Maybe Hashirama was able to defeat Madara, but this doesnt mean that he is stronger than Hiruzen. But still, I think he is stronger.

So, Edo Madara was shown to fodderize Tsunade (along with four other Kage), and Hashirama is shown to be superior to Tobirama (this is obvious, sadly), Hiruzen, and Minato through statements by Edo Madara (and Dan, who once again, shouldn't count).
