This year was of Kakashi's as there were lots of manga chapter's on him...

Kishimoto wasn't kidding when he said this year is gonna be Kakashi's year..

He killed one of the swordsmen...
Saves Naruto in 1 manga chapter...
He analysis Obito's Jutsu after interacting 2times with his jutsu
Kakashi can do Kumai on himself...
He was the person to identify who tobi really was...
Kishimoto never let kakashi on rampage...and I dont know Y....
But if u think kakashi as a genius then I am confused!!!!

Whether in battle or training, he never fully explored the techniques flexibilities and limitations of MS Sharingan. If you compare how excessively Sasuke, Obito & Itachi has used there MS
Further limiting his MS usage was the side effect one experiences by placing excessive strain on their eyes.


Than big question is how did he know how to use Kamui???

Was it probably he figured this out by either using the technique or a more likely scenario is that he's been reading that tablet in the Uchiha grounds (e.g. also explaining his knowledge on Amaterasu, Susano'o).I doubt this because no 1 knew about this tablet except uciha clan and he is not from that clan....

kakashi can do a shodow clone as per manga...If I was kakasi I would have definetly tried KAMUI in different ways with shadow clone to see how it works out. After that I probably would come to so many conclusion like a method of transportation, What happens if send something into other dimension, what it there in other dimension,etc...

he never tried using kamui on himself because for all he knew he could go to a vacumn dimension, or may not have enough to get back.....he only used it on himself to get back once he was brought there....kakashi i would say is almost as good with his sharingan as itachi....both only used ms when needed (although itachi used his in times he didnt have to(aka vs kakashi)...he couldve just used a regular genjutsu....but itachi probably has just a wee bit better overall usage.....kakashi used all aspects of his sharingan well, except for maybe genjutsu(although since gai trained to fight kakashi without looking into his eyes it implies kakashi could use genjutsu with sharingan as well
sasuke just spams ms techs and in less than a month got eyesight as bad or worse than itachi when it took itachi like 8 years of usage to get....

simply put people under reate kakashi alot, and people over rate his kamui...

Kishi's has some explaining to do about kakashi chakra boost..at the starting of manga when he used his shahringen against Zabusa he was out for couple of days...and now he has used kamui so many times he has fought so many guys that to some of the ninjas were very very gud like swordsmen,etc...than also he was able to fight so long...

Kishis's has to give some concrete reasons how he was able to do that....

Thats y i said he could have tried on shadow clone as he is a genius u expect this much from him...

U say that kakshi is under estimated and his shahringen is over estimated...

I have a big doubt that if he didnt have shahringen...he would as powerful as he is now...I dont think so...

1)He would not have gained the traits of Obito...
2)Creation of his own jutsu. At 13 he had created Chidori but it was incomplete because he did not have the eyes for it but still he had created a new elemental attack perfect if the enemy cannot counter...
3)Without a sharingan he would have been concentrating on other Jutsu.His progression as a Childthe same age as Itachi becoming a ANBU captain, Now Kakashi is slightly behind Itachi but Itachi's promotion may be seen as part of Danzou's plan while Kakashi's may have been because of lack of strength because of the war but anyway lets say they are very close at this point When they do fight outside konoha Itachi is way ahead.

with shahringen he has so many advantages......
Copycat ability. Could copy any Jutsu the other kakashi used
Better genjutsu. while used with his copycat jutsu a sharingan would give him better genjutsu
Better sight in taijutsu, can be seen with his ability to use chidori after gaining it
Use of ninjustsu previously copied. Is meant to have learnt 1000 jutsu he has copied
Space time jutsu where he can sort of insta-kill someone or rip a limb off. Normally needs time to use and only uses if necessary.

If you were Kakashi you would be made of ink and would do anything the person that drew you and writes your story wanted.
He is not a real person nor is the manga made around him to give him certain power ups that you would give him if you wrote the manga. In any case it is all up to the artist, not the character himself (as the character, obviously, does not exist and thus has no free will for his choices)

Kakashi's one of the smartest characters in the series if that's what you mean.

I'm not really sure why people are saying his body is weak. He's able to weild that giant beheader with one hand, and snapped one of Pain's chakra rods with no effort. He also took a royal beating from kakuzu and just kept coming, including surviving the point blank pressure damage+Hidan to the face combo which apparently has never been done before.

I think his chakra supply is 100% plot constructive for better or worse. After the first Zabuza fight he didn't do much aside from a few water techs and using the sharingan, and he collapsed. After the second Zabuza fight, he was able to create a huge army of shadow clones. During the Pain arc, he used a few jutsu, 2 kamuis, and a lightning clone (apparently cost half his chakra) and died. During the war arc, he has a ridiculous amount of chakra.

So, Kakashi, a non-Uchiha without seeming to have access to the background info on the MS, has been able to figure out how to use it to its full power (I doubt there's much more to learn, though Obito could use his techniques on a much larger scale) and yet your argument is that he's not as smart as stated in the manga (repeatedly)?

I can't really understand your point.

Also, Itachi while he was alive has arguably accomplished LESS than Kakashi, with Kamui, in any single battle. They're about equal in the amount of times they can each use the MS.

EDIT: ^Dude above me, I lol'ed at the "Hidan to the face combo" bit. Also, after the second Zabuza fight he used illusion bunshin, not shadow clones. I also think Lightning Clones MIGHT have a set amount of chakra, which may not be at half Kakashi's total (did it ever use any techniques?).

Kakashi is definitely top three intelligent people in the manga if not the most intelligent.
1) He outsmarted Itachi.
2) He found out Deva's weakness, without Kakashi Naruto wouldn't have been able to defeat Deva, you know.
3) He cracked Obito's Kamui.
4) ...and outsmarted him TWICE in a single battle.
5) He found the way to make a months (or maybe even years) long training last only a couple of days.
6) Even in Land of Waves arc he already accomplished much more intellect wise than many of the other characters called geniuses, as he noticed immediately a water puddle to be out of place and knew right away that the white bunny was meant to be used for substitution.
7) Add to this a manga statement that no one is better at analyzing than Kakashi and you will get the full picture.
