Smartest Ninja??

Who do you think is the smartest ninja?? The one who has made plans and strategies to win a battle or achieve something??

Mine:
1. Madara= He was about to die, when found obito manipulated him to become his ally gave him all the details of the Moon Plan and die. He is the real cause behind the Akatsuki.. Now he is more powerful, young, and is about to conquer the world.. His plan was reminded me of Death note..

Itachi= He had the perfect plan to make sasuke grow stronger, make him become a hero and restore the Uchiha clan, and if the outcome was not the one he wanted he had a plan "b" giving shisui eye to naruto. when he was revived and found out about the war, he broke free of the Edo-tensei, guided naruto and bee to seal nagato, in his fight with kabuto came with a perfect plan to manipulate Kabuto to undo the Edo-tensei by casting Izanami

3. Minato= he is monster strong, but also his level of taking good decisions and intelligence was better than average. In his fight against Tobi he had figured out Tobi weaknesses and defeated him.. by taking the kuybi away from Tobi and sealing into his newborn son. where he left the key to open the seal and make his son the one who should defeat the mask guy..

your list has many smart ninja but it doesn't have shikamaru :| and itachi and minato are smarter then madara.... he just has yrs of preparation and knowledge but i can see him being out smarted by quite a few shinobi

Danzo is NOT a top 10 most intelligent ninja. He just has tons of knowledge from Root. If anything he's one of the best manipulators and underhanded characters.

Point taken. I still think it comes from experience; Minato and Itachi were naturally gifted at a young age when compared to Danzo.

I say the smartest is Shukaku of the Leaf....he is simply a smarter Shikamaru. If you look at a shinobi like Shikamaru and Shukaku they aren't DBZ kill move spamming types. Instead they are fairly weak compared to many, and yet they win their battles because of their intelligence. Shikamaru was said to have an incredible IQ and his father obviously possesses the same traits. Most of the people you mentioned are all smart, but they also have the advantage of being monsters on the battlefield. I guess that's how I see it, but I respect your top choice. Madara is a master of manipulation for sure.
