Neji's father (Hizashi Hyuuga) was revived with his Byakugan even though Kumogakure had removed his eyes in an attempt to steal the Byakugan. They know that it seals upon death, so they would have attempted to extract the eyes whilst he is alive, then the eyes would seal.

I think we are all overthinking this haha. I believe Shisui would have his eyes. If anyone were to revive him, the would ensure he has his eyes because they are more valuable than his body flicker tech. It's like reviving Itachi without his MS, even though he is an excellent shinobi, it is silly to revive an uchiha without ensuring they have their sharingan.

Firstly, there's nothing in the manga which confirms that Edo Tensei brings one back as they were when they died or during their prime state. Nagato was brought back as he died, yet Itachi was revived without the blindness in his eyes. Furthermore, Sasori was brought back as a human; he died as a human-puppet hybrid. Kabuto already explained that those resurrected would have access to all their original techniques [

Nagato wasn't crippled he could still move but because he had been immobile for most of his life, it was difficult for him to move as it was years since he could move plus Shisui would have his eyes back as Itachi was revived with his eyes back even though Sasuke took them.

One could argue it brings you back the way you died, but Sasori was in an human body.
One could argue he altered Sasori's body, but I can't see Kabuto bringing Sasori as an human if he had choice since he would be much more useful with his modifications.
One could argue it bring you back at your prime, but Chiyo was in her late years and Hanzo was crearly not on his best days.
One could argue it doesn't take into account body modifications, but Kakuzu's body was still a mess of strings and Deidara kept his extra mouths.
One could argue it regenerates your organic human body, but Nagato's legs were still crippled due to Hanzo blowing them up.
One could argue it doesn't take into account permanent damages you got in your life, but Chiyo got a newbrand arm instead of her puppet prothesis.

Madara's case was handwaved by Kabuto saying his edo body was altered to bring him back beyond his prime, but that doesn't excuse the discrepances regarding the other edos. No one knows exactly how it works.

If it does even restore taken eyes before death, than Shisui would be revived with his eyes.

Kakuzu got revived without hearts and had to steal them again
(because he died without them).

Kakashi would come back with a sharingan, if he would die right now and be revived with

As you can see, you are not revived in your prime, unless Kabuto modifies your body (like he did with

Sasori is a bit off an odd one in the bunch. On the other hand, how do you revive a puppet body with edo tensei?
The sacrafice body would have to turn into a puppet. I can imagine that this wouldnt work and that it would turn into
what Sasori was before he became a puppet. After all, Chiyo was revived without the puppet arm, so the puppet parts work different in edo tensei. You are revived with your human parts.
