Shark Fin Soup Clan

While watching/reading Naruto we notice that there are odd-looking ninjas with shark teeth and such.
Did I miss some information or are these sharp teethed characters still unexplained?
Enlighten me please, if I miss out on information about their origins.

well, i guess their characters are somewhat inspired by sharks. Also, their swords seem to have have shark names( some of them). They are not shark people, they just decided to make themselves look like sharks so that they are frightening.

O, I see 0,0. I think Kishi should have put more effort and time into Konohamaru/Hanabi and the chuunin exams before starting the naruto vs pain arc. And he should have also put some more taijutsu and swordmanship in it while adding an arc about the shark teethed ninja in which Naruto could have sage mode+fox mode or something. The war arc seems so rushed with OP things..sigh

I agree with the rushed part. But I don't really care for Konohamaru although, it would have made more sense for him to develop him seeing as how he "defeated" a path of Pain.

If anything he should have used a more developed character to do so.

uhu and what I'm so dissapointed about is the fact that it's so hard nowadays to measure 'power-level'. Everything is so OP nowadays, I feel like I'm watching Bleach. I'd rather see some taijutsu/swordmanship added and NO fillers at all. I'd rather wait a month for one good episode than to be dissapointed each week like I am now.
