I have yet another question that is bothering me a tad bit. now, I am unsure of anyone else posting this, and I haven't seen it so i will assume it hasn't been done or made relevant lately. now, We all know that ms users who over use their doujutsu eventually go blind right? and we also know that ms users obtain ems through the process of utilizing the eyes of another ms user. my question is this, if an ms user who hasn't gone blind takes the eyes of someone who has gone blind, will they still obtain ems? any thoughts?

No madara was about to lose his light and took his brothers with full "light" I guess that's a way of putting it.

If madara had completely lost his light, I don't see izuna being able to obtain EMS from madara who has completely lost his light and has no abilities anymore.

I think you have to take eyes that still at least partially have their light, but you could take the eyes of someone after losing your light and still get it. That's the concurrent logic so far.

Yh it has not been stated this was the case, it's just fairly obvious but if it wasn't and you could get someones eyes who had lost its light already that would seem pretty dumb to be.

If the light was lost as a cause of over use of MS jutsu then they can still be utilized for EMS. If it was lost due to Izanagi/Izanami then the eye is sealed. Remember that EMS comes from combining the two MS eyes. That is what allows eternal light.

It's Obito's eye he has yeah but it's been Kakashi's for years, it's his blood that runs through it so it's practically not Obito's eye.
But Kakashi isn't an Uchiha...

and he shares no uchiha blood, i don't think this would work due to that. furthermore, his eye is obito's eye, so essentially it would be him swapping his own eyes.
