If their death isnt meant significant,their not main characters,i shudve added that.

Jiraiya's death was meant to make Naruto grow up (significent) . Hiruzens death was meant to incapitate Orochimaru so that Naruto would have 3 years to train before he could attack Konoha (significant)

Kishi himself stated Shikamaru and Choji needed growing up and Naruto too. Rock Lee doesnt so Guys death would be insignificant so he wont kill him off.

Tsunade is dead or her speech about sacrificing herself to save the other kage would make her character look pathetic
Tsunade's death can be used so Sakura can grow and so that Naruto can finally become Hokage in her place
There is no reason for Kakashi to die yet, but Guy has a reason: showing 8 gates and then passing on the torch to Lee
It's time for K11 to step up.

Sakura is fodder in this manga now and she already grew up in Chiyo vs Sasori. Yes you are right about Tsunade dying so Naruto can be Hokage but not nessacarily, she can past the title when she is alive also (like how Hiruzen made Minato hokage). Kakashi will not die again lol,theres no point. Lee is not important to the manga now,im sorry but u gotta face it lol.

Only ones who matter now are Naruto, Sasuke, Orochimaru , Madara , Kakashi and Obito.

Naruto wont let any of his team mates die. I think it would have a reversed effect on Naruto if he knew Gai was suddenly bound to die. Also I don't think Kakashi would let him do it either.

I believe that IF Gai is going to use the 8th gate, it will be in a situation, where it by any means would be necessary to save the other 3. Lets say Narutos Kurama mode slips up or something. That could without a doubt force Gai to do it, while the other 3 retreats. At least that would probably be the only way for them to make a retreat.
I do, however, still believe Bee has a lot to give. This is battle is far from over, but in the end it all depends on Madaras Perfect Susanoo, and whether, he has even stronger mokuton techniques.

Personally i think that the 8th gate is coming I don't think it will be as soon as next chapter though. Maybe 5 chapters from now? Remember, this manga moves verrrrry slowly.

Of course that would be a possibility, but as I said, Kakashi wouldn't let him use it, and if Naruto knows the effects of it, he wont let him either. Only possibility is - as I said - if they have no other option. As for now Gai can be pretty useful with just 7 gates, since Naruto is so imba. But whether he an handle Perfect Susanoo or not, is hard to tell, since we didn't see that much of it. I doubt it though.. But Naruto also got something from the other bijus.

Enough about the gates, its a death sentence. Why would anyone use it unless they are about to die ? Expecting 8 gates means you want Guy to die ... well do you ?

I guess you're right, but if anything, showing the progress of K11 surpassing their masters would do as a conclusion to their stories
And I think Sakura could make a comeback now that it's about Sasuke and Naruto again. I bet she will be involved somehow
