Panda became light-headed and the room began to blur before fading into blackness. The next thing she was aware of was the feeling of silk embracing her body, and the softness of some padding beneath her. Her eyes fluttered open and were greeted with a dark room, and she realized she was on a large, and rather comfortable, bed. She stood up abruptly and remembered everything before she passed out.
“What the ***k is going on here?!” she blared, as she realized she was in an unfamiliar room, wearing a stranger’s nightgown.
“Where are my clothes, damn it?! Who the hell changed me? Why is HE here?! And what happened?!” She was in a rage, not even attempting to lower her voice. With excessive force, she opened the door to leave, but instead was face to face with him- the very reason she passed out. She was not the type to faint, but how does someone react when your past comes back to haunt you? Flabbergasted, her mouth gaped slightly open at him, waiting for him to speak.
“I see you’re still as beautiful as ever,” he said, a smirk playing at his lips.
“W-what are y-you doing here?” Panda stammered.
“I live here,” he calmly replied. “Long time no see, Pandy.” He smiled as he touched her cheek, brushing a stray hair away.
“Don’t touch me, Excite. And don’t call me that,” as Panda slapped his hand away, and recoiled with disgust at the mention of her old nickname.
Without any sign of being dissuaded, he continued talking, “Don’t be so cold. Besides, if we’re going to be business partners we have to rekindle our friendship first.” Excite’s laughter boomed, “And maybe more, if you so desire my little Pandy.” He gave her a devious wink, and Panda only stared in disbelief at his ignorance.
Panda and Excite had history together, and not one she was fond of remembering. Like all her past boyfriends or lovers, it didn’t go very well, since she seems to have a taste for interesting characters. However, Excite was on a different level of weird as compared to most of her exes. Normally, they would have a strange habit, or a fetish for abnormal things, but Excite was different. He could only be described as a pervert. No, not just a pervert, but the shining king of them. But he did well and hid this fact from Panda for the beginning of their relationship, making him the most dangerous breed of pervert. He could hardly walk down the fruit aisle at a grocery store without mentioning how grapefruits had “nice curves.” Panda played it off as him joking, but eventually it began to get on her nerves. There wasn’t a time where she could go out with him and he didn’t stare at another woman’s bosom. She could have sworn that once he stared so hard at a girl, you’d think his eyes would have popped out of his head!
After about seven months, she decided to call it quits. Little did she know, Excite wouldn’t accept a break-up so easily. He went to extreme lengths to gain her back, even following her to work and back, waiting outside her building just hoping to catch a glance of her. His obsession even went so far as to tell her parents that they were engaged to be wed. Even learning about Bluecy, Excite didn’t seem discouraged in the least. Instead, he shot rude remarks at her, and told everyone that Panda was “just playing for the wrong team for a bit, but eventually she’ll come running back.”
It became so ridiculous that Panda moved to another state, changing her phone number. They hadn’t even talked since their last date, which would have stopped any normal person. On their last date, Panda was eating a meal with Excite, but was suddenly struck with the realization that she didn’t like Excite anymore. On impulse, she dashed from the restaurant. She was meant to pay for her half of the meal, but had ditched him before the check arrived, and escaped from the back door in the kitchen.
The thought of their last date suddenly changed Panda’s mood and made her feel like laughing. Before she knew it she was laughing.
Excite stared, and then his eyes almost seemed to shine with a cunning thought. “Fell for my charms already, have ya’? Well don’t worry about it, there is a bed in that room behind you, so you don’t have to fight your desires any longer.”
Rather than be appalled, Panda began doubling over from laughing so hard. I can’t believe it. I can’t believe I dated him. He hasn’t changed in the least. Tears began forming in the corner of her eyes; she couldn’t seem to control her laughter. Taking deep breaths, she calmed herself, and wiped away the water from her cheeks.
“You’re an idiot,” Panda bluntly stated. “But let’s get this straight- we are not and will not be together. However, I will work with you purely as a business partner, got it?”
Excite beamed, “Yeah, yeah - I gotcha. But it’s late, how about we start talkin’ business in the morning? You need your beauty sleep, after all.” He gave her one of his signature winks before turning around and leaving, without waiting for Panda’s reply.
She stepped back into the strange room and fell onto the bed, being sure to enjoy its comfort completely this time. With such draining events, Panda was sure sleep would evade her all night, but instead it welcomed her with open arms, taking her away in seconds.
A sudden light hitting her eyelids woke Panda, and she noticed the sun was in the middle of the sky. I must have slept for hours. It was the first time in months where Panda had slept so deeply and blissfully. Stretching, she got out of bed, showered, and changed into an outfit that had been placed on the dresser next to the bed. She grimaced in the mirror at the outfit. Excite picked this. She was wearing a pink skirt, revealing most of her thighs, and a gray, low-cut tank top. Knowing she had no other clothes to wear, Panda left the room irritated. I’m gonna go give him a piece of my mind, dammit. Pink- yuck!
Getting to his room, with some help from girls around the mansion, Panda shoved opened the door without knocking. “Excite, what is this shit?!” Panda yelled, still annoyed by the outfit.
He merely laughed, and ignored the question. “So you’re here to talk about business, right partner?”
Clenching her fists, Panda went and sat down unwillingly, resisting the urge to hit him for being so infuriating. “Get to it, then. What is it I do here?”
Pretending not to notice the anger in her voice, he replied, “I want you to be a body guard, of sorts.” He paused, allowing Panda time to absorb the sentence.
“Body guard? What do you-?”
“The girls around here are beautiful, but not many of ‘em have strength. There have been incidents where the customers try to rip the girls off, or hurt ‘em even. So I was thinkin’ you could be the one to keep the more rowdy customers in line.” Excite reclined back in his chair, waiting for Panda to react.
“So you’re like… a pimp?” Panda restrained herself from laughing, but knew her guess wasn’t far from accurate.
“Yeah, I guess you could call me that. So whaddya say? You in?” He flashed a smile at Panda, then added, “Not to mention that aside from your strength I hear you’re pretty useful with a lighter.” He then chuckled.
I guess he heard about that. Panda thought momentarily before responding, “I guess I could do that. Is the pay good?”
“Is the pay good? Of course!” His voice boomed, “Look at this place, how could the pay not be-?”
A knock interrupted Excite’s sentence, and Killa let himself in. “Sorry ‘bout the intrusion, but we got a visitor.”
Killa opened the door a little wider, and Panda was so startled to see a familiar place in this foreign country that she drowned out whatever Excite and Killa were talking about with her own surprised reaction.
“Nimmy!”

Chapter Four
Panda became light-headed and the room began to blur before fading into blackness.
