I thought of this while I was making a thread for Edo Tensei & Rinne Tensei.
This is my thought process:
-Kabuto resurrects Tobirama.
-Kabuto uses a talisman that gives him 100% control over Tobirama,
-Orders him to take some of his DNA
-Get a sacrifice
-Perform the ritual.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-Tobirama gets Kabuto's dna.
-Tobirama gets a sacrifice.
-Kabuto commits suicide or dies by some other means.
-Tobirama ressurects Kabuto.
-Kabuto is now an edo with an immortal body and infinite chakra reserves.
Do you think this is possible? Could Kabuto possibly make himself an edo?
Don't post hate comments, I just thought this would be an interesting thing for Kabuto to do! :D
i think it could happen. why kabuto didn't do it anyway is beyond me.
edit: not just with tobirama as he is sealed in the reaper death seal.
If the instructions are correctly written than yes it could in fact work. It would have to be written that once Tobirama performs the technique he would subjugate his will to the will of his edo summon.
Nice thought! Only problem is it could be easy to screw up...Tobirama if given any bit of free will could turn into the master, Tobirama could fail to make Kabuto back to his origional state (he stays an uncontrolled zombie state), But Kabuto is rather smart so I would say he could pull it off....why Orochimaru never thought of doing so is beyond me...no need for constantly taking bodies if you have infinite time to do things...
The question is, will Tobirama still follow Kabuto's will when he's dead?
Yeah I was never sure why they didn't do it, I guess Kishi just thought... well, I don't know why Kishi wouldn't have wanted to do that with Orochimaru or Kabuto, it seems like a pretty smart thing to do.
Hmmm.. I wonder why Kishi didn't make Oro bring back Minato in the first part along with Tobirama and Hashirama..
Isn't Minato in the death god's stomach? Just because he used the reaper death seal on half of Kurama's chakra, I think it puts the user in the death god's stomach too.
Oro could commit suicide and be revived by Kabuto. Since he knows the jutsu, he could regain his free will. He wouldn't have to worry about being controlled before doing so since Kabuto is totally loyal to him
I think being sealed and always being alive afterwards is the worst, but I mean Kabuto's mind is/was clouded with the need for power, and edo gives you an immortal body and infinite chakra, and I think that's what Kabuto would focus on, not any of the negatives.
Yes it's plausible, but it's just one of those broken combos that Kish didn't think of.
Even if that were possible in the narutoverse, no way Kabuto would do that.
For one, he runs the risk of being betrayed or extenuating circumstances occur [plot].
For two, he would be creating his own weakness to his downfall; either someone controls the summon that edo'd Kabuto OR knowing that Kabuto is an edo, the assailant would form a plan that takes that fact into account. Ex: Kabuto feels overconfident because he can't die by physical attacks, so the attacker makes Kabuto feel confident and uses that against him.
All in all, it would be stupid on Kabuto's part. Even Madara was pissed he was revived in the edo state, and despite having broken free from Kabuto's grip, I'm sure most on this forum would agree that Madara would prefer his original body back. [note that Madara was aware of the technique and how to break free from it, he may also know weaknesses to it not yet revealed to us]
Oro could have done it with kabuto and no more switching bodies and infinite chakra but it just plot no justu, actually the whole edo tensei is a very stupid thing, in my opinion one of stupid thing kishi did, I would have understand if it where just zombies, retaining the powers they had in life.
It wasn't done because Kabuto knows about a weakness in the edo tensei. Some applies with Madara, he knows a weakness to the jutsu and wanted to be revived with rinne tensei and not edo.
