The manga hints that Minato had sage mode

First off I am not a big fan of minato. One of these manga pages though implies that minato had sage mode.

This image shows Gamabunta being reminded of Minato and Jiraiya when naruto attacks in sage mode.

You must be registered for see images

This page states that naruto has surpassed Minato and Jiraiya.

What we know though is this.

Jiraiya never mastered Sage mode.

Sage Mode naruto has not surpassed Minato in any category except rasengan mastery and possibly sensory.

The only conclusion I could come up with is that Minato had sage mode. It shows both jiraiya and minato and old toad states he surpassed them and naruto did surpass jiraiya but in terms of sage mode and rasengan mastery. Let me know what you think.

Its not factual that he had it, however it is implied he did in those two manga pages. Just thought it was pretty interesting.

I wouldn't go as far to say its yet to come since sage mode is childs play now. I say hint in regards to the manga subliminally saying Minato had it.

it would be cool to find out that minato was a sage, i heard kishi was planning on doing a series about minato after shippuden so we'd for sure find out then. I'd be happy to learn more about the sages in general since we only know about 3 out of all of the characters in naruto

I think that would be a great series. As much as I dislike Minato I do like this series.

Thank you. I learned how to make the IMG option work after asking so now i'm able to get a decent sig.
