Ok, so I have a question for the Basers that I see complaining how Naruto is powerhouses now and not ninja like they were before: Do you honestly care?

I mean, let's be real for a second. A fight is a fight. Simple as that. While the reason for fighting or what leads up the fighting can be deep and complex(which Naruto has), a fight is just for flashy entertainment. Do you really wanna see some guys chucking knives and shuriken and using wires and doing that kiddy crap over what we are seeing now? And isn't the natural course of where it was meant to go? I mean, pre timeskip Sakura, one of the weakest characters to date, was doing shit like that. It's only natural that the stronger Shinobi do stuff in a powerhouse way.

And it's not even like all we see is raw power all the time. We still see the ninja smarts. Sasuke used it against Danzo, Darui against the Kin/Gin bros, Kakashi against Tobi.

So why care? Why does it matter?

Well, me? Yeah, I do care. Because I liked more the part 1 where they had it all, tactical figures, jutsus, stuff like that.

Not everyone falls for these flashy stuff... :|

There's truth in what you're saying—if it's always just the "kiddy crap", yea, it gets old.
However, there is significantly less strategy-use in fights now; it has since evolved into, most often times, a "You used a powerful technique! Well I have a BIGGER and MORE POWERFUL technique!" loop that continues until someone gets atomized. :I

Fights like Team 7 vs. Zabuza (in the original) where Naruto and Sasuke used a brilliant strategy to defeat a Shinobi far above their skill levels (even though he didn't just chuck Tailed Beast Bombs or have a Sharingan/Rinnegan) were good fights. Hiruzen vs. Orochimaru was that way too, to a degree.

Just my thoughts. =]

I kinda expected this seeing as madara and hashirama's first fight was rumored to have created an entire waterfall, kishi forshadowed this level of power long ago, I agree though, it'd be stupid if they stayed around the same level as part 1

Yeah , part 1 was awesome they had to do multiple hand signs to do a jutsu and now its just KABOOOM .. I am not even gonna start on ninja tools >.>

It's to make you think as well. Only entertainment doesn't solve things every time.

That's why Part 1 is far better than the second one. It put people to think, the intelligence and tactical figures mattered.
Now, it's like Mgumbo said, it's all about I have a super-powered move with which I'll solo everyone, buu!
