How did Gai use morning tiger without unlocking his 7th gate. I was always under the impression that it was a 7th gate technique. Much like Morning Peacock is a 6th Gate technique. So how was he able to do it..

Also, i believe Gai is trolling us all... I really doubt gai has begun to fight seriously at all yet.. He is (in lack of a better word) playing with madara.. And when i say playin i mean he is simply enjoying the fight, yet to get serious and fight all out.. Its kind of funny to think guy may be playing around with madara much like madara was playing with the hokages.

i dont remember the ch. but it wasnt that far back. but im only speculating . it sound plasouble .also when naruto was in km mode yamoto wood strenght grew. i might be wrong but im just using common sense

He already opened gates since the fight against Tailed Beast. He was already in gate mode on this picture. It's only when you open gates that you can really notice it, but while already in gate mode, there is not much of a difference with the normal state
