Less start minato is far from great and legendary he fought his 15 yr old student who was very unexp with his abilities and has been weak all his life untill he met madara also failed to take down kurama and died trying at that while naruto took down a bijuu at age 12 and lived. also his smarts and base speed are on average ninja levels if you seen his fights he has always needed ftg to fight any enemy even fodder and dont go well he got naruto from obito fast when i can use similar things aswell
sasuke got in naruto face in a instant when they first meet naruto jump about a football feild to destroy machine path from killing tsunade. hes a terrible sensei he almost let obito die let rin get slaughter and still accepted kakashi back bad sensei also let iruka parents die couldnt really protect nothing in his life naruto base speed is way faster then minato's he was fast enough to dodge A while minato needed ftg basically what im saying is.

naruto did everything minato did at 29 at 16 minato is a failure naruto can protects his comrades fight for his villiage and the world and still be alive he basically became hokage when he defeated pain just didnt name him hokage naruto took minato strongest jutsu turned it into something way stronger than minato could ever had thats all.

You have a look at all the people you compare him with, he would take out most of them and he wasn't anywhere near the age they all are.

He did not have any sort of special gift apart from his intelligence and he's still top 10 material. He doesn't rely on any sort of birth right power such as the sharingan. He created him own jutsu and surpassed all of them.
