sakura even had her own movie and episode i mean she is important after all

She's not useless - she has skill in the medical department and shows promise in that one - but it's her personality and at times her actions that make me dislike her. *shrugs*
Sadly though her development has been put on hold for quite a while. Kishimoto-sensei even admitted he had forgotten about her which isn't a good thing for a character that's supposed to be one of the main characters

She first came in wanting to kill Sasuke thinking it would help herself and Naruto. She was committed to her feelings and that lead to her to where it's at. She plainly said she has to rely on Naruto to deal with Sasuke. Sue never stated she was useless. And with that it will only make her stronger as a character for support. This does not prove she was useless in any bit.

Sakura is the main heroin of the Naruto story, a love interest yes, but also a main character who will remain relevant until the story ends.

Not only has she saved Naruto and Sasuke's lives, she's also responsible in helping to defeat one of the strongest Akatsuki members. She may not fight often, but she's in no way a useless character.
