Why is it so hard to believe Sakura can surpass Tsunade? It was even stated by Kakashi during the second bell exam that Sakura has the ability to surpass the 5th, this is a direct line from the manga. How often does Kishi use foreshadowing? A lot.

This is not saying Sakura becomes a top ten shinobi because she surpasses Tsunade, she might not even reach a level that's remotely close to Naruto's or Sasuke's, but the old generation will become surpassed by the new. It's one of the themes of Naruto.

The war is not over yet, there is still a lot of story left to be told, and plenty of time for Sakura to develop. Coming into this thread and bashing a character doesn't help your argument, if anything it just makes you look like an immature hater.

In Shippuden we see him evolve from the basic Sharingan to the Mangekyo, still not being able to control it good enough, he faints.
But then again, we have Kakashi now who spams Mangekyo.

Why? It's simple. He minimized the amount of chakra he takes for a jutsu and maximized the efficiency of that jutsu.

Let's be serious, by that logic, every other character that had 5 in the databook when it comes to stamina, should've been nothing because they weren't Uchiha or Senju or Uzumaki...

Because I like her. Period.
Reasons? Enough... For what she represents. As simple as that.
A weak character that gets strong from the simple wish of not giving up and hating to lose. As simple as that.
Funny that everyone likes the big overpowered characters because all those flashy jutsus that they have, but when it comes to human complexity, weakness and humanity, no one likes Sakura.
I don't need to like a character because it has Amaterasu or Rasengan or because he's the main protagonist and of course he'll be the most perfect one and everyone will love him.

I like the characters that bring something human in this whole story and show that life isn't as easy as it seem, that you may be weak and you may fall countless times, but in the end it matters your will to stand up again and again, no matter how many times you fail.

These are some of the few reasons I like Sakura, for example.

There are plenty, but I'm not going to start and make a list now.

sakura did underwent training for 2 yrs with tsunade and we saw all her improvement after it during the bell test and sasori's fight ...if she had also learned other tech apart from monstrous strength and evasive skills from tsunade she would have used it against sasori ...sakura didn't show any such thing

i did not expect hinata to stand up against pain (which was very brave and cool) but i did expect her to do sumthing new .....it was the same 2 yr time skip and we were seeing new jutsu from other members (like sakura got monstrous strength after 2 yr) so i expected sumthing like 64 palms that neji used or chakra spinning tech ... lion fist was awesome she did place a punch on pain that was more than enough for a side character.... and i like her that way ...she is an eye candy sometimes used for fan service and she is cute so i like her.....but i dont go on create threads like "Hinata will be one of the strongest bcos she has byakugan and the since we dont know how long the manga is gonna extend we can assume she will get OP techs etc" that sounds absurd even to me bcos there is no proof

i was merely stating the theme of the current war arc and the important protagonist and antagonist characteristics and Kishi's mentality regards to that issue

My logic is simple show me undeniable manga proof that sakura has the means to surpass tsunade,learn slug mode or genjutsu mentioned in this thread ... no if,may,might,could and no extension of truth and no assumption based on one line manga ....thats called fan fiction

I am not giving false feats, I am giving open possibilities based on patterns that Kishimoto follows and on connection he has made.

Judging by the look of her face, She wasn't exactly read to fight off a surprise attack, She was completely defenseless.

Even the People around her wouldn't of been able to react fast enough to stop the attack, so i don't see how sakura would of done so.

All that scan proves is that she can defeat a zetsu clone with the element of surprise. Not that he could take two on at once even when they've got the upper hand and the element of surprise
