About an hour ago, the central part of my country, Nepal was hit by a 5.5 rector scale earthquake. I was studying and suddenly my desk started shaking. I realized it right away so I came out running with my family. A minute later another smaller one hit again.

I was not afraid of the earthquake but all those people screaming and all, really made it a spooky moment.

No one was hurt in my area so I am glad. I hope it is the same in other areas as well.

Yap.

Mount Everest is just a small part of my country. We have cities, you know. And in every of these cities we have internet services. However I have to admit, we are still developing.

No it's not. That is why people are now believing more about that 2012 December 21st foretelling.

Yeah. Can't wait for that. Seems like the story will be based on Cortana as well. What is more I get to fly a Pelican. :D

In the past 50 years more than 94,000 people have been killed by building collapse and avalanches associated with Himalayan earthquakes. Not sure about Nepal in particular but all the Indian area surrounding it falls in seismic zone. You probably are in seismic zone or nearby it.

How does a earthquake feel, I never personally experience such a thing and curious to hear a description and not vague response..!

According to the agencies, Nepal does fall on the red zone for earthquakes. However it is quite surprising that we don't have much earthquake. The largest earthquake occurred about 80 years ago, killed nearly ten thousand people I guess.

It is this from this year, earthquake has been quite common. People can detect earthquake that are more than 5 rector scale, and we already had 4 earthquakes this year.

However scientists say that smaller earthquakes, undetectable to humans occurred almost every hour.

Well, everything will just shake, it's really hard to even walk or stand up if you are sitting. Kinda feel like Dizziness. And yeah the dogs will bark like hell.

Glad you guys are ok and it was not that high on Richter scale.

ah Being in seismic zone doesn't necessarily mean many noticeable earthquakes all the time. The energy may be building up below the earth for over a century and on the surface you miss it till there is a massive explosion one day and the rocks below the earth just break/shift under it.

Sometimes smaller earth-quacks are better as they releases the pressure and postpones the massive earthquakes.

Well let's hope that day will never come. However if it does come then I wish to die along with my family members and my loved ones then being left all on my own. I can't watch them die right in front of me.

Since we already know who Tobi is, I still don't wanna die before I find out the person who knows everything, seeing Naruto and Sasuke battle, Naruto becoming the Hokage, Luffy becoming the pirate king, Ichigo stopping Juha, Natsu being the true Dragon Slayer........ :T_T: There are lots and lots of things.....
And Oh Yeah Until I achieve my dream.

P.S You do resemble Robin somehow :|

Neither do I. lol But I myself live in seismic zone. Felt one of magnitude of 6.5 ( some sources claimed 7.1, not sure why the different results) last time. It was weird listening to the rocks grinding and all the noise while we were so far far away from the epicentre. Luckily there was not much damage in my town itself.

Was it about 13 months ago? We did feel its shock here as well. Agencies said that the epicenter was somewhere at Sikkim. The shock wave was about 7.1 rector scale, killed three people in Kathmandu.

I remember that moment. It was raining, I was sipping up some hot coffee, around 6:00 PM i guess, everything started shaking. Books from the self started to fall, My mom came rushing and we went outside. That was the largest shock and the very first experience for me, It lasted for about 40 seconds or so., gotta admit, it was a scary moment.
