You're basing it all on the Pokemon design, Pokemon from first Gen like Muk and Electrode weren't all that good either. The story was really good in B/W and in B/W 2, but it does all come down to personal opinion of course.

when i finish a pokemon game The plot will not matter, and of course they make it for money,BUT the reasons why Are we going to continue with producing episodes for the money or for the fans. It's obvious they care little about the franchise. Why else would they make ash like 10 again, to put out another couple hundred episodes? but anyone with a brain would of thought they should of ended it after 4th Gen. Now there is candles and chandeliers as pokemon?
