Ok we all know madaars edo is a special one. If you remember kabuto was not best of friends with obito. When he went to capture bee and naruto he brought yamato. Yamato has hashis dna. So I think the body used for madara is yamatos. If you remember madara has his armour damaged and you saw hashi face. Yamato also has hasi face on the chest. Madaras dna is not complete his anymore. It is hashi and his. Plus his eyes are Izunas. So I think kabuto used yamatos body. I am saying this because kabuto didnt let tobi use the rinnegans power on him. Also we have not seen what happened to yamato. For all we know he can be dead. This is what I think happened to him. Do you think my theory has weight to it.
