Is Yamato dead or not?

After being bit by a snake with chakra suppression and got some of his Hashi DNA, is he dead or not??? If not, then why he did'nt escape? And Kabuto is already beaten and no one is watching Yamato. So any thoughts???

I think he's still stuck in the statue that was made to power up zetsu.

He's probably still alive.... he's not exactly stop what your doing in the war and go save him material. However, i do believe he will survive.

because nothing in this regards has been shown but i do believe his unconscious but still alive in the statue, so like maybe if his woken up, he can escape LOL??

n i highly doubt he knows anything happening around him, - even kabuto v sasuke n itachi

Well as someone pointed out via picture Yamato is simply being a tree hugger at the moment...I could see Kabuto undergoing a change of heart and helping Yamato and Anko in order to send them to the battlefield
