Being agnostic myself, I'm right in the middle- but personally, I really despise when people cant respect the fact that NOT EVERYONE will be religious. It doesn't mean there bad people, I've met bad people who are religious and really nice people who are religious. Also Atheists and agnostics who also can be bad and really kind.
Also, saying that someone who doesn't believe in religion or god has a disease is really messed up. Anyone could say that the fact you cant open your mind more is a disease and it actually is very much one.

I saw this video maybe 5 months ago, and it sparked some interest. I had been a practicing before hand. I have always had an interest in science and so i saw this and checked it out. After watching it, i spent my time until now thinking, come up with theories, and delving into the research of Physical Cosmology. I have researched physics, energy, mass, and space to help understanding. What it really is, is that I have a craving for knowledge and answers, so after seeing the video, which was simply a spark, it turned into a fire, I now i trust logic more than religion. Maybe if someone actually paid attention to anything i said on this damned thread, they would notice that i've said this a few hundred times lol

I have an insetr in science to mainly planets When i look up at the night sky i fell that there is no way we're here by some lucky circumstances while every other planet somehow got the short end of the stick god set it up some how thats the feeling i get. I mean this stuff can't just happen how out of all the 8 planets in this solar styem why would ours be the only one with life? because of god. however thats just my opion it could be wrong

No. After the video sparked my interest, i spent an un-healthy amount of time on the internet learning as much as i could, i went to the library frequently and read as much as i could, got what books i could on my ipad, watched all the movies about this stuff. For you, 5 months may not be enough time, but everyones different, and i'm way more open minded than a lot of people on this thread and am willing to listen to everyone as long as their respectful and civilized. You have no right to judge people, just because you don't understand something or can't comprehend it. And as far as you "significant other" goes, no one in america would want to listen to this, this would just make fun of you lol.

The reason is because nobody cares. The true motivation for atheism is self reliance and self worship. It has nothing to do with legitimate truth or fact. Intelligent design is so apparent it's absurd. Mans way of elevating himself is to erase God or the concept of god and replace it with man and the insight of men. Add to that the many false interpretations of the bible and the dastardly deeds done under the false pretense of godly direction and you have yourself mass doubt. Now couple that with subliminal media messages of self reliance and an ever growing selfishness among men and you have your reason. People simply don't give a crap.. People would rather envelope themselves in a convenient facade. Even many religious peoples do this by not researching their own beliefs.
