God does not exist.

Prayers NEVER get answered.

No supernatural miracles that I can think of.

Inconsistent book to base his existence from.

GG God/Gods
Sounds like someone has a daddy complex.

Some Questions when I went through the bible

If God is omnipotent (all-powerful), why did he take six days to create everything? Why not speak everything into existence all at once?

How did Noah fit the millions and millions of species on this planet into his ark?

If God is omnipotent, why does he not just show himself to all of us, all at once, thereby ending this game of free will and temptation?

If we are to only have *** for the purpose of pro-creation, and to do so outside of the scope of pro-creation is sinful, then why would God create us with an over abundance of nerve endings in our reproductive organs making *** extremely pleasurable? It sounds like a set-up.

If God is perfect then his creations should be perfect, right? Then that would mean that the earth is a perfect creation. Then why would God have to create another perfect place, heaven, and use it to entice us to believe in him? What kind of assurance do we have that heaven would be any better than his other 'perfect' creation, earth?

How did Adam live to 930, Seth 912 and Methuselah 969 years old when anthropological evidence show that we have progressively increased our longevity throughout history? If they did live that long back then, this concept would be reversed and our longevity should have been decreasing throughout history, right? That would mean that people 500 years ago should have lived to at least 200 years old. Why do we not find evidence of this throughout written historical birth and death records as well as archaeological and anthropological evidence?

Why would God give us the capability of logic and reason and expect us not to use it when it comes to belief in him and his word?

1) Because that would make the story a bit too boring.

2) Very good question, I wonder that myself.

3) Really, there is no free will. People say we will go to hell if we don't believe. Thus, it is an "if-then" statement instead of free will. Free will would imply that we go to heaven regardless whether we believe in god or not.

4) Don't forget sterile people. They can't have babies. Also, from the beginning...it was a set up. Why have the fruit of life at all if we were going to sin by eating it?

5) Some places are more perfect than others.

6) If I am not mistaken, they "lived" so long because the ozone layers were very young. I could be wrong, I am very bad at science.

7) Because that would be part of his "test".

lol Those are the answers I came up for myself when I had similar questions.

The fact that you or any other atheist try to apply natural logic to God's supernatural being is simply foolish to me.

Oy..... Can't believe I had to make an account to just say this.

Firstly, is this really the place to be discussing something like this?

Secondly, non of this ranting or anything in the video really matters. The world had to come from SOMEWHERE, you cannot make something out of nothing. So, putting aside all the arguments and proof/lack of proof for any of this. There has to be a god of some sort, there absolutly HAS to be an origniator. Even if there was just energy and time and empty space in the very beginning of time, who made all of those things? So there was nothingness? Where did the energy come from? Where did the space for the stupid little goop thingys to evolve come from? I am sorry, but without some god in the picture evolution is pure nonesense. AND that is ignoring all the monumental coincidences, there is NO WAY something can come out of nothing without someone (notice I say someone not something, because a something would have to have been originated too) instigating it.

I am a Christian and personally, I believe in creation as the Bible tells it (I don't know how you can believe in God and believe that he made the world evolve, it makes no sense. If you believe in God then you should believe the way he tells the story in the Bible in my opinion.). Regardless of that, even if I am wrong and my God doesn't exist, there is SOME god out there, period. No ands, ifs or buts, there is just no way around it. So Mr. ex-catholic dude/dudette that started this whole thing, sorry, your vid still fails to answer the most basic question. Far as I can see it just tries to confuse by using a red-herring with lots of scientific mumbo-jumbo. Ok, yeah, he's a really smart dude, but where did the very first something that wasn't nothing come from?

This is the first and probably only post I will ever write for this site. No matter who's right or wrong this is a very idiotic topic to have on a site dedicated to Naruto and honestly it rather annoyed me to see it on the "hottest threads" list. Everyone is entitled to their own belief whether it makes sense or not and if you want to discuss it go to some relegious forum.

And that's my 2 cents on this whole thing, take it or leave it.

Thunder

So you believe that Adam and Eve existed then?
Are we really made out of mud?
the earth has only been around only a few thousand years like the Bible has stated?

I mean this in the most respectful way I can say but the Bible is not a history book we learn from the lessons in it not the story's mate.

I'll watch this later and we can discuss it, since at the moment I'm with my family and we're having a reunion. I have to say that I respect the way you created this thread. You're not bashing, you gave an explanation that you came to this conclusion so:
+ rep +Thanks + like!

It's nothing that people should get offended by, it's your persona opinion after all. People need to stop being immature- what I find funny is that they want to shove their beliefs down others throat and yet if you say "I don't believe in god after I analyzed my life and search etc.." they hate you. I respect anyone, religious, atheists, satanist as long as they respect me and don't push their beliefs on me. You're not hurting anyone after all or calling them names for their beliefs.

I just want to tell you all something, i'm not saying that video answers every question to life. We still have much to learn, there is a vast majority we need to know still. So please, I don't mean to come as if I think that video answers every question in to existence. It did not answer how humans were made, and all of those things. YOU CAN BELIEVE IN WHATEVER YOU WANT! PLEASE DO! I JUST WANTED YOUR OPINIONS ON THE VIDEO! SO MANY OF YOU TOOK THIS THE WRONG WAY! I'M SORRY ABOUT THE TITLE! I barely got anyones opinion on the video, which is all I was asking for. Instead, now i have people making acounts just to call me an idiot and shove god in my face lol.

This is the general discussion, everyone's allow to make this type of thread. It's not banned on the rules, get to know the rules before you tell someone what they can talk about or cant, the only thing is idiotic is that you're very close minded when you say that.

You should preach what you say "Everyone is entitled to their own belief whether it makes sense or not"

You'll never win against the foolish. Most people here are under 18..and you cant expect them to be knowledgeable about life.

Went through more of the bible more questions I wanna see how people answer them. I won't argue or refute the points you may make.
Answer to the best of your ability.

In the book of Luke chapter 19 verse 27, Jesus says, "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me." This seems pretty clear that Jesus would have Christians kill all non-believers. How do you explain this?

If God created everything, why did he create AIDS, influenza, ebola, ecoli and so on and so on? These, as viruses, are living things. You definitely can not use the free will card for this one. Is this another part of 'God's plan'?

If God's word is supposed to be the accurate word of God himself, how are we supposed to trust it enough to model our lives after it 100% when hundreds of books were excluded from the original text throughout so many translations and revisions in history?

If God and Jesus are the same, having the same mind, knowledge and power, then why would Jesus beg himself in the garden of Gethsemane, to spare himself from having to be crucified? Furthermore, why would Jesus ask himself why he has forsaken himself by allowing himself to be crucified?

If God created everything, then why did he create the tree of knowledge of good and evil and put it right in the middle of the garden of Eden for Eve to eat of it's fruit if he didn't want her to? Furthermore, why did God create the serpent that tempted Eve? Uh-oh, it sounds like another possible set-up.

If Jesus died on the cross and spent three days in hell to pay for the sins of the world, then why would we have to go to hell ourselves and pay for them again? God is then, in essence, being paid for our sins twice. With that said, was Jesus' sacrifice not worthy enough? If that is the case, why should we care that he died for our sins if his sacrifice means nothing at all?

In the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, why would God kill Lot's wife, Sarah, by turning her into a pillar of salt for simply looking in the wrong direction? God is a merciful God, right.

Why are more atrocities committed in the name of God than anything else?

You know what man, this is a really tough topic. I think that the bible might not be all true. I mean if jesus was willing to die for everyones sins, why would he wan't to kill, which is a sin in itself. So somethings not right there.

I will make this very clear for all the atheists and the hardcore Christians

No matter which way you look at it something had to have come from nothing we might go through the entire lifespan of the human race without knowing it

That being said there are many things i have seen in my life which has made me question the divine however i do believe that there is something out there that is probably beyond our understanding...

These are written by men that should answer all your points i dont like hardcore Christians but neither do i like people who pick on religions the fact is no one knows the whole truth i presume

Scientists now even have to use the God theory because they cannot understand how from something millions of times smaller then a pin head could create the universe(s) so unless you can show me indefinite proof either way i dont want people like you pretending to be smarter then everyone else

If only. But I have heard it said that God doesn't have a face, as he is an entity and not a person. How convenient considering "prophets" have claimed to see him :|

The fact that you or any other atheist try to apply natural logic to God's supernatural being is simply foolish to me.
Not a atheist. I believe in evolution and religion are part of yin/yang can't have one without the other. I question both sides but this time I question the religion side because both sides have flaws. They both can be exposed with a open mind which is a horrible thing to give up. You erase the humen curiosity if you close your mind

You know what..?
you may be onto something I mean logic is so overrated this day and age

I think I will go make a Hiruzen > Madara dissociation in abit
I mean after all Iruka and Kabuto both stated that Hiruzen was the strongest of the hokage meaning he should be able to take out Madara no sweat.

I mean after all Iruka and Kabuto are reliable sources right..?
we don't need any feats or even mention what Hiruzen can use to completely curp-stomp Madara
because I believe in him<3

you see the problem here?
if we just blindly fallow what we are told without giving a thought about it or using reason we are basically puppets doing as the puppeteer wants.
