The series has a chance of spawning a new series but a series placed after the events going on now is practically impossible everyone got the closure they needed the biggest mysteries are solved or about to be solved the nina world is going to be united so a threat will not be coming from another ninja village.Kishi has backed the growth of the series into a corner the only option left is a prequel of sorts not that anyone would be complaining if that were to happen

Dbgt is not canon becuz the original creator wasn't involved..I doubt kishi will pass over the rights to someone else
