[Discussion] Obito Uchiha/Kamui, How To Beat

Ninjutsu and taijutsu are not very effective against him thanks to his OP Kamui. You'd have to figure out its weakness and find a way to exploit it, it's not easy... There is a simpler way, one word : Genjutsu. Kamui cannot defend him against that. Yes he's an Uchiha, can break genjutsu with his eye BUT the genjutsu is simply there to create an opening to attack. Though Kabuto's Tayuya and his vibrations /Itachi's tsukuyomi are instant killers imo. Ma and Pa frog song. Opening and hit. Game over. Thoughts ?

Well I was only trying to figure out logical ways to defeat him. And Naruto can fuse Ma and Pa now that Kurama is his BFF.

*To above post, no. When he realises he's under Tayuya's jutsu, Kabuto would already have had his head rolling on the ground, same with Itachi and Frog Song and maybe other genjutsus. Plus I don't think it's so easy to use jutsu while in a genjutsu. Only Shikamaru was shown doing that

I think Tsukyomi COULD be an option, however:
Obito can avoid eye contact - because of intangiblity, he doesn't have to worry about being attacked when not looking at Itachi.

It probably would work if Itachi somehow managed to FORCE Obito into making an eye contact, but I don't see it happening.

However, I thought of another way Obito can be beat, by Kakashi to be exact. Kakashi could make a raiton bunshin and because of the fact Obito has no knowledge of it, he will attack it and be electrocuted (unless he attacks at long range). This would create an opening to strike him down.

Both Tsukyomi and Raiton bunshin are some ways to beat Obito, but both have their buts.

The only opening that can come out of Obito's amazingly fast Kamui is its 5 minutes limit. That's it. If someone knows how to take advantage of it, but then again Konan knew about it and Obito simply used Izagani to defeat her as both MS/EMS and Rinngegan are required for it.

Itachi used genjutsu on Sasuke a lot when they were fighting.. Sasuke broke them but the point is, Uchiha are not immune to genjutsu. Itachi meant that the Uchiha's Sharingan allow them to break most genjutsu. And did you forget that Kabuto used genjutsu on Itachi and Sasuke ?? Genjutsu is definetly an option to beat Obito. Yes he can try and avoid eye contact, but one second of inattention could be the end of him. I'm not saying it will happen, but that it can happen. And sound based genjutsu are the deadliest.

I think sharingan user can distinguish bushins from real people. Not Kage bushin though. Obito would notice that it's a raiton bushin because he can see chakra

Except he's a pure blood Uchiha with MS & Senju DNA, he can most likely see through almost every Genjutsu. I guess one could cite Sound based Genjutsu though.

i think that only nara clan can beat Obito.. shikamaru will be the savior .. his binding shadow can hold obito and prevent obito from kamui himself.. and the other ninja can strike deadly jutsu and kill him..

How does shadow manipulation prevent obito from kamui himself even if a nara manages to get it to hold Obito ?? He still can easily teleport away.

Even if he can see through them, there has to be some reaction time : he doesn't break them instantaneously. The genjutsu is only there to stall him, create an opening to attack

I don't really like how the only people who really use genjitsu in the series are Kurenai/Itachi, and we don't even see the former anymore.

Especially with Sakura's second self and her high intellect with not falling under the genjitsu during the Oro/Hiruzen battle, I think everyone thought that she would've been able to use genjitsu.

Frog song would work, but is not practical as it take a long time to charge up and you can't exactly sit still vs Tobito :/

There's chakra in normal Kage BUnshin, too, and Sharingan cannot differentiate it from the original. There's no reason as to why it should be able to notice Raiton Bunshin, since Raiton Bunshin is generally the same as kage bunshin, just infused with lightning.

A kage bushin is made of the user's chakra, even the but a raiton bushin is made of raiton, sharingan can see the different types of chakra so it should be able to tell the difference
