Understanding the professor the 3rd

Everyone that I've seen is confused and the 3rds "prime" everyone that has seen the 3rd in action or while he has lead the Kohona has considered him the "professor" the"best hokage" "prime hirzuen". What people don't understand is how many people have seen the 1st and 2nd? All I can count for is like hirzuen, Danzo and the others with them that got trained.
Now we l know he (hirzuen) has been called the professor because of he's vast knowledge of jutsu throughout Kohona. But that doesn't make him the best that just means he learned all the jutsu he could inside the village which actually doesn't seem to hard for a guy that was about 120 years old. Orochimaru was learning probly damn near there learning all the jutsu he probly knew all the ones from Kohona too.
Last topic was calling him the best is hard because no one has seen all the hokages at once. All the ones that call him the best never saw the first hokage. Hell calling him prime could just mean of that generation.
Which I'm not saying he's weak we all seen him fight orochimaru and the 1st and 2nd he did good for 120 years old but he could of been the only person to be able to use a jutsu (which he ain't Danzo is from he's time and knows Justus) but lets say he's the only one that can use Justus he would be considered the best by default.
So everyone needs to consider that him being called " the professor" doesn't means he's the best. They just means he's the best that they seen

Kishi told us ourself that Minato is the strongest shinobi that was ever alive and now he's the strongest dead shinobi..so that means stronger then hashi, and i dont see hashi keeping up with ftg and his sage mode.

MK: Hmmm, it's a tricky question. As far as dead shinobis goes, then yes, he's the strongest. I'd say that Sandaime shares the number one spot with him. As far as living shinobis goes... well, without going into many details I'd have to say no. There's a couple of shinobis whose stronger than him.

I won't say too much, but Kisame is a character that wont die anytime soon. I will definitly develop on his character more and possibly make him...

I agree hiruzen lived the longest and was hokage for the longest time, that helped him gain the god of Shinobi tittle

I guess so..but you can't just have a contract with Gamabunta for no reason, there's a reason why only Minato and Jiraiya had a contract with him though.

Jiraiya had contract with Toads for a long time before he trained to absorb natural energy. Minato would have eventually trained it too, if he hadn't died. The story is close to its climax, so Kishi would have noted it already if he had it.

Kishimoto has changed the direction of his story, and as such, certain details have been retconned. An example of such a retcon is Hiruzen's 'God of Shinobi' status. Riddle me this; how could Hashirama have such unbelievable, fairytale-like power if people believed in Hiruzen's God-like strength? That is to say, people had witnessed or knew about Hiruzen's outrageous exploits, yet described Shodai's inferior strength as mythical? It clearly makes no sense, which is why Kabuto's statement regarding Hashirama's feats being mere legend holds some weight (since the people wrote of the first Hokage's power as over exaggerated lies, and therefore claimed Sandaime Hokage to be the strongest their village had ever seen).

well, hiruzen got that nickname back during his generation. so it is safe to say he had a fearsome reputation back then. later as the next generation came, they took over and made names for themselves. Similarly, Hashi got his rep when he was in his prime. same goes for other kage of other villages. The nicknames were a testament of their power and fame and in every age someone with monstrous strength comes out.

You see, no matter what cool names they get from others, someone is always there to beat them. only true god of shinobi was SO6p as he is feared by each and every ninja alive.
