A deeper meaning to the Narutoverse

I was just rewatching and re-reading the chapters where naruto fights pain, and the scene where pain preaches to naruto about how his tailed-beast weapon will be able to destroy a nation, and peace will be caused due to the fear of this weapon.

Isn't this kind of how the world is now, with nuclear warheads being the "tailed-beat weapon"

Yes and look what that did. It mutated people in japan *shiver O_O* just think what a nuke can do U_U

Note: The atomic bombs that were dropped during WWII were only 2-3% of their true power. They were still undeveloped when they were dropped on Japan.

Its the whole nuclear deterrence thing. People don't want to drop a nuke because then someone else will drop a nuke on them, basically Kishimoto is saying the system we're living in is one driven by fear and will ultimately never work.
