Dam, what's with all these people wanting Ninjutsu. xD Like half my threads are Ninjutsu training, it's kind of weird.

Anyways, first explain to me why you want to learn Ninjutsu and how you would want to use in a battle.

Well basically, I want to learn Ninjutsu in order to widen my variety of attacks and defensive mechanisms in battle, and to add some more versatility to my arsenal. U_U
In battle, I'd use it to even up odds with things like "shadow clones" since people tend to spam that technique around here. I also will find a way to use barriers and such within battle, along with multiplying weapons and things with Ninjutsu.
I truthfully don't know much about all of Ninjutsu, that's exactly why I'm here to learn from a sensei.

LOL, that first reason. Sorry to hear, I'll do my best.
Good start, good start. As long as you have the motivation and conviction, you can learn a lot.
I'll give a quick briefing on Kage Bunshins:
First: Clones can perform various attacks all at the same time. Indeed, imagine if you had four clones in front of you all release different jutsus at you at the exact moment. Dangerous, no?
Second: It is hard to tell the difference between the real you and clones. Only the Sharingan is able to tell such differences, or normally, people just godmode this in battle.
Third: Being able to combo greatly with split-second jutsus - imagine seeing several attacks coming at you at all directions.
Fourth: Distraction in general - for example, a clone used Thunder Up, and caused an explosion, the enemy will be drawn to the noise and you could then take advantage of this.
Fifth: Release of Genjutsu.
Sixth: Sacrifice for information.
Seventh: Increase of field of vision. Blind spots.
Eight: Human Shield.

I'll go over each of these when we learn the actual jutsu.
I will also be going over:
Field of vision.
Handseals.
Range.
Timing of jutsu.
They are all very important in any battle so I hope you can get an idea of how to RP properly in the future.
First off, let's talk about Ninja weapons.
The first, most basic one is the Kunai.
Explain to me how one would work and how you think you would use it in a fight.

Field of vision:
My main, and will forever be my main bio is my hyuga. xd

Hand seals:
I understand them fully.

Range:
That's what I pay attention to alot, seeing as certain techniques only work at certain ranges.

Technique timing:
I think I'm good at time-frame with techniques., though my opinion is bias..

Kunai:
- is a simple weapon, though it can be used I a variety of ways such as distracting an opponent by attaching smoke bombs, explosives, flash bombs and such things.
The kunai can also be infused with different elements such as Fuuton, Katon or Raiton to increase its piercing abilities. It can also be guided by attaching wire to it.
oh, lightning blade can also be infused into it to make it into an S-rank lightning kunai, like what kakashi did vs. Obito.

Haha, Hyugas are great. It's the only Kekkei Genkai I picked up, and I think it was only for a test or something. o_o 360 Vision OP.
I'll go over them in-depth later as I use them a lot myself. xD Usually in wallies that piss people off, actually.

Let's go over your three points you made about a Kunai.
1. Yes, the circle within it allows you attach many things. I'll give you one more tactic that I enjoy using, because my main bio is Shikamaru. Fake explosive tags.
There's something called "zoning" in battles, which is basically forcing your opponent to go in the direction or area you want them to so that you can inflict them the way you want to do with your moves. Let's say for example I toss a kunai with an explosive tag at you to your right. Explain to me how you would react.
2. Each element has a different affect on it. Say for example, Lightning would shock your opponent, particularly if is he is wet, or if you are standing upon a lake with an opponent, you can charge your kunai and touch the lake with it to shock him.
Wind makes it sharp, allowing you to chip off his flesh with just a slight touch.
Keep this in mind, as this is basically a free bonus in any battle. Charging it with a certain element can make it all the more powerful.
One more thing.
Say that you were locked in a close combat with an opponent and you had a kunai.
Where would you strike to give him an instant death?

A kunai coming from my right? Well, me personally, I always take the easy ways out of things. So I'd simple take advantage of having my byakugan by telling if the kunai had anything strapped to it, such as explosives and such so I'd know how I need to react..
If it was a normal kunai I'd counter it with a kunai of my own by making mine hit your thus throwing it off course..
If it had something attached to it, I'd use a quick wind style technique to redirect it from a distance so if it exploded, it would happen out of my range.
If it was coated with an element I'd be able to notice and I'd counter with the said elements weakness.

Close range with a kunai, instant death?
Hmm, kind of a tricky one. I'd instinctively say the heart or the neck somewhere. But then again, a kunai through the temple should suffice. xd

The first description would be the result of cause and effect. I tossed that kunai, thus, I forced you to counter it in some manner. And then, if possible, I can counter your counter with my own move. For example, you used a Wind Jutsu to blow away the explosive tag, thus, I can follow up with a prepared fire move to disregard your Wind Jutsu, so that it overcomes it and is sent back at you two times stronger.
By taking the upper hand, you can juggle your opponent around and have them react the way you want to, as we are all forced to make moves and survive in a battle. This is most often used in chess, where it is necessary to be able to predict several moves ahead of the opponent.

The temple definitely works. There is also another vulnerable spot between the base of the sternum and the rib. There are open gaps between ribs, so you can learn to aim directly where the heart is for an instant kill.

Okay, I ranted a bit too much. I hope you know enough about kunais now. I personally enjoy clutching one during battles for reassurance. The steel really does help me calm down.

Now, let's discuss shurikens.

Why is their shape unique and how would you use it in a battle?

Hmm, I usually use Genjutsu when I think I'm in a sticky situation so I can turn it around and force my foes to have to react and counter against me instead of me having to continuosly counter. Or I try defending with an attack. Another thing, I don't mind taking damage to deal damage, some people try going unscathed but that just means that either run all battle or they're good enough to never have to be on the defensive.

Ahh yesh, the temple is perfecto for insta death. xd But between the sternum or through the gaps of the ribcage is good too.

Shuriken:
Wellll Shuriken's shape are unique because it's perfect for spinning rapidly whilst slicing through things quite easily, well easier then kunai, which stab instead of cut.
But I'd basically use Shuriken in the same manner as Kunai, though I wouldn't use it as a choice in close sombat..

Alright, you hit good points, but you're missing a lot.
Shurikens are designed to travel quickly and efficiently through the air, gathering force so that the edges become particularly sharp as it hits its opponents.
The easiest way to use these are either a swarm of Shurikens, which act like little annoying bugs, and can easily block your opponents field of vision, or to tie them upon strings and manipulate your opponents into being tied up in them. Explain why it is important knowing your opponent's field of vision.
They are light, easy to handle, and you can hold a bunch at once, unlike a kunai.
Let's say you tied one to a string.
How would you handle it differently?

Thanks bro.... never bothered with Shuriken much because people tend to not fight so...... minor, they use huge jutsu. Lol

But knowing my opponents field of vision is important because if I know where he can and can't see I'll know exactly at what angles his blind spots would be, along with what he'll notice...

With a string attached to my shuriken I'd gladly let my opponent Dodge the frontal attack so that I can pull the shuriken back with the wire to hit him from behind unnoticibally....

Both your points include the idea of outplaying your opponent, and then planning your next move in order to counter them.

Strings can serve a lot of purposes. From thinking about the anime and the manga, how did ninjas use the elements to affect weapons on strings?

Hmmm, well I believe (not sure) that someone in the anime or manga connected wires to demon wind shuriken and threw the large shuriken at someone, after that, he discharged raiton on to the wires so that the lightning ran down the wires and stunned the opponent.
Then in part one, Sasuke used wires connected to shuriken to spit fire down the wires to ignite the enemy on the other end. O_O

I believe in the Naruto series the smoke bombs came in small spherical balls that exblodes and releases a cloud of smoke, which is used as a distraction, or to conceal something from an opponents site..

Well me being a Hyuga clan member, I'd attempt to put the smoke bombs into use by maybe graving 4-5 of them at once, followed by throwing them between me and my opponent, but spread out from eachother to make a large, wide smoke screen, thus concealing myself from my opponents line of view. But this wouldn't affect me at all since I can see right through the smoke, that way I'd unleash a nice combe they'd have no time to react to until it gets close..

But byakugan can see through anything so yeah, smoke is part of "anything" xd
