-Stands with left leg on a rock waiting for sensei to arrive-
:scorps:
:scorps:
It was yet another quiet day, but I had a lot to do, so I began with simply glancing at the scrolls on the very top of my list. It seemed that I had to go through, but life only continued, and with each and every experience, my knowledge would not diminish, but only grow.
He regarded me with a simple, yet acknowledging gaze as I arrived upon the training field. In a slightly relaxed position, but with a clear eagerness for learning, I spotted him standing upon a rock, his left leg placed upon a stump, where an old tree had been recently chopped down.
"Hello," I greeted, offering him an awkward smile. I was always terrible around people. I don't even know how I became friends with Chouji and Ino. "My name is Shikamaru, and I'll be your teacher today."
He remained silent, clearly waiting for me to continue. I wrung my hands, attempting to hide my nervousness, but it was no use.
"Well, eh, first tell me why you want to learn Ninjutsu. It's a very complicated, yet creative art."
"I want to learn Ninjutsu because, like you said it's a creative art. It's also useful in situation like a fight," he replied.
I frowned, contemplating his sentence. "We learn in order to fight," I said. "What kinds of Ninjutsu do you know of and how would you use it if you were battling right now?"
I wasn't really hungry, but I accepted the cookie anyways. "What flavor might it be?" I questioned.
"Hm," I responded. "Well then, we should start with the basics."
I spread out several ninja tools before me, running my eyes over them before deliberately selecting one.
"This is a kunai," I explained, hefting the tool within the palm of my hand. "It's my favorite Ninja tool."

"Here, take it and feel it for yourself. Then explain to me how you think it might work and how you would use it in a battle."
Hm, not bad, but let's go over what you said.
-The hole on top of the kunai definitely allows you to attach explosive tags to it. However, what else can be attached to it too?
-Channeling wind allows it to become extremely sharp while channeling lightning gives it a shocking touch.
-Say you were locked in close combat with your enemy. How would you strike him with your kunai so you can deliver an instant death?
Alright, well said.
Let's move on to the Shuriken then.

What's so special about the shape of a shuriken and how would you use it in a battle?
-Good emphasis on the Katon techniques, however, how may they be used in correspondence with wires? What would be the impact?
-Actually, the shape of the shuriken allows it to be propelled faster in the air, spinning to a degree where it would be able to slice and cut through skin easily.
-Last, but not least, you can toss much more of these at once as they are lighter than kunais. What would be the impact of tossing a huge wave of them at an opponent?
You forgot my first question. ._. Sasuke used fire along with wires and Shurikens in order to empower them.
Also, good emphasis on the throwing, but you missed the key point of distraction, which allows you to know their field of vision during battle. This is very important, especially when fighting against Doujutsu users.
Okay, now, tell me how a smoke bomb works and how you plan to use them in battle.
Alright, very well said.
But what Doujutsus do Smoke Bombs not work on?
Doujutsus, as in Kekkei Genkais, not techniques. xD
There is one more you missed and the reason why.
