[Theory] Rin a Jinchuuriki?

Ok while thinking about the events around Rin's death I had an idea. I don't think Rin was working for the Mist Shinobi. She's been built up as too much of a nice and good natured person for her to betray her friends and village. My assumption would be the Mist villages wanted to take her for something. They seemed to be interested in her body, my guess would be she had something powerful in it they wanted. Tailed beast anyone? Those marks on her cheeks kinda look like sealing marks. Just a theory though. Also when you look at her when Kakashi is killing her, there are what look like bubbles around her. These could either be the technique relating to the six tails or could be the forming of a chakra cloak. She also looks a little bit like Utakata. Perhaps she asked Kakashi to kill her if she began to transform or was about to be taken by the mist shin obi. In that case her last words could be seen as a thank you. just a thought though. Interested in hearing other's opinions.

Well that's an idea, but wanting her body doesn't neccessarily means she is a jinshuriki, maybe she has some Kekkei Genkai :shrug:

True but there were over 20 elite mist anbu there, and a pretty big battle for just a chunin and a jonin fighting them. Seem like Kakashi and Rin had something to have them drag out a fight that long.

That's another possible idea. The one thing we do know is that there is something special about Rin.

Madara is orchestrating this whole thing, and also Madara is wanting Bijuu.

Though it is a nice thought than anything else, but it really could be anything

Mm...I don't think so. Those markings on her face is face paint, a lot of the characters have that, esp. the color purple. If a jinchurriki has markings, those markings have to represent a part of that animal that is inside them. And well, it's obvious Madara was involved with her murder and I doubt he would kill her cause he needs the tailed beast inside her in order for his plan to work. But then again, stranger things have happened. :/

Sorry but i don't think she was a jinchuriki. Becasue she was not shunted by the village like all other Jinchuriki's.

don't think she was a jin, konoha always only had the kyubi. I've always thought she was out with kakashi (and maybe others) on a mission and she was the carrier of vital information from konoha. and kakashi might have been ordered to protect rin and the information. I'm guessing kakashi was force to pull a kisame on her. with an overwhelming enemy force, the only way to protect the information was to kill the carrier.
on page 3 from chapter 605 the enemy shinoby do state after kakashi stabbed rin, "shit he got us, after we worked so much to get it"
"it" can indicate information.
