What happened during the flashbacks??

Since the chapter 602 to 607, we learned Obito's story through many flashbacks but I noticed something in today's chapter.

-Gai's face is full of blood and he seem extremely exhausted. He said himself that Madara is hell OP. He probably went against him as well. (Those who thought the fight would be separated, it pretty much was free-for-all)

-Bee is in a pitiful state. He doesn't seem to be able to move anymore and we can see the dust around him which mean he just fallen down. Also, He said ''Madara is really strong ...'' which means he did put on a fight against him.

-In the previous page, we see Naruto who may have blocked some kind of explosion. Right after that, Madara said he won't be holding back anymore which clearly means they fought and Madara couldn't afford to go easy on him otherwise he won't be able to succed. Off topic: This shows that Naruto is really strong and is more of a challenge than the five kages together.

- Madara's face seem a bit worn, those aren't the Edo crack. It prove he went on a fight. He didn't have those before the flashbacks. This doesn't mean anyone landed a hit on him but that he went on a fight against them.

-Obito just landed, he may have been on a fight with Kakashi or he just dodged the destruction Madara's dragon and Kurama have done.


Anyway, Madara is now fighting seriously and isn't holding back anymore yet Naruto seems pretty confident. I'm really starting to think Naruto is on a even higher level than we all think. I'm really curious to see what the battle is going to turn out like but seeing Naruto this certain brings hope. In the other hand, Gai seems to be at his limits which means his last trump card is the Eight Gate. Bee's situation is pretty ugly, I hope he can get back up and assist Naruto. Kakashi seems exhausted like hell, he isn't an Uchiha yet he used his MS many time and fought during the whole war. Naruto BM is technically not suppose to be active anymore. Maybe his bounds with Kurama went wild in that short period of time due to Madara's presence and extended the BM duration.

Madara was holding back which is why he said he was being tolerant. He decided not to hold back, not out of fear but annoyance. Naruto is the most annoying character besides Bee, Guy and Sasuke. Read the manga and you'll see that those are edo cracks. Guy's so-called trump card is useless against an opponent like Madara with the power to predict movements as well as the speed and power to counter them. Obito and kakashi weren't fighting, they were just landing because they were in proximity of the fight between Madara and Naruto. Naruto is always confident so saying that is pointless. Naruto always finds a way to extend something even when it's been stated that he only has a limited amount of time( unless everything that has happened has only been about 3 minutes)

I don't know. Even if they aren't edo cracks, he would have gotten dirt on his face no matter whom he was fighting. It doesn't appear that Naruto has landed a hit, so I don't see how it proves his strength to show marks on Madara's face.

Isn't it rather funny how the marks in the scan you posted in the Op are literaly at the exact same spot as those in this ^ scan

We never saw the power of the Eight Gate, it was said to be extremely strong. But anyway, the point of the thread was to show that they were actually fighting during those flashbacks. Edo crack? Yes they could but crack are usually longer when those were tiny. I also doubt everything lasted less than 5mins. Naruto clearly extended it through unknown ways (plot).

You read it wrong, I wasn't implying that those marks came from a hit but simply from fighting (dirt,etc). I'm 100% sure no one landed a hit on Madara. Once again, this thread was made to prove they were fighting during those flashbacks. I know they don't stand a chance alone against Obito/Madara.

Obito and Kakshi seem to be ignoring everyone else, which explains the "final fight" comment at the very end. So, contrary to what we thought, it looks to come out like this:

Judging by Madara's comments, he seems to have been warming up. Getting a feel for Naruto, because he's the only challenge.

Gai's going hard, as always. But, he and Bee are both out of there league here.

So, what happened? Pretty much a warm-up spar.

Typically of panel fight, Gai just got the worse of it. Maybe he used 7th Gate too long.
