He bled to death from all the flashbacks.lol

But on a serious note, i think he was enjoing himself. He was fighting madara without any of his gates open and he is still alive and still wants to fight. If anything that is a testament to Guy Sensei's power. Just wait until he opens his 7th or 8th gate.. Madara will get blitz and fodderized.
