Kisame question

Sup guys, I was planning on making a vs thread with Kisame being one of the shinobi, and got confused on this one detail... When Kisame is fused with Samehada, he is able to suck up chakra, but does this ability work like the Preta path does ? So, making it simple, Can Samehadas absorbtion powers absorb the chakra infused in the opponents moves, or is Kisame only able to absorb chakra directly form the opponents body ?

As to answer your question, no, it doesn't work like the preta path when he's fused with Samehada but rather he has to absorb the chakra directly from the person's body by touching them. This isn't confirmed, but my observation after re-reading the Kisame vs Killer Bee fight today.

No. He can't absorbed chakra infinitely. He can weaken the user.

I saw the fight too, if he's in contact with the opponent he's sucking out his chakra.

logicly he should be able to do both. Each time he touched Bee it stole some chakra and Samehada was able to absorb Itachi's fireball so I assume both.

Preta absorbs the justu Samehada absorbs chakara so in my opinion Samehada is better

Don't get me wrong, Samehada one its own absorbs the chakra from the attack before it hits, but Fusion mode needs direct contact with the person.

So why can't it do that when fused with Kisame? Chakra is chakra and samehade was able to do both so I see no reason why it's not able to fused.

It can't be explained directly, but it seems like Samehada absorbs the chakra when unfused but because it integrates inside his body it loses the ability to absorb chakra without physical contact.
