i agree it is a less strong Kyibii now but remember Madara can not use Wood Style like Hashi can so i would say it is an even playing field

I agree with you. now the Kyuubi is merged with Naruto and is helping Naruto. That time, madara was forcing the Kyuubi to do his bidding. So it's different now.
