There are lot's of reasons why i would like to learn genjutsu, but I'll just list the main two reasons. The first reason i would like to learn genjutsu is because i have a set amount of goals i want to achieve during my time on narutobase and mastering genjutsu happens to be one of them, The second reason i would like to learn genjutsu is because i like the idea of skillfully using non-physical combat to set your opponent up for a physical attack and this is also how i would enjoy using it in battle.

Genjutsu works by manipulating the chakra flow of the opponent's brain thus causing it to affect a single or more senses, this can be achieved in a variety of ways such as Sound, Eye contact, Channeling chakra, ect... If i were to cast a genjutsu upon you i would most likely release my chakra into the air and have it travel into your brain, Next i would have it affect the part of your brain which controls sight, I would manipulate it causing your vision to fade surrounding you in darkness.

Excellent. Not only should you affect my vision, but all five of my senses too.
As I mentioned earlier, imagination and creativity plays a huge part in Genjutsu, so in order to fully convince your opponent that he has been moved to a different place, or if he is really being tortured, you must make sure to inflict all five of his senses and be deliberate about it.

Now, with a short briefing on Genjutsu, let us move on how you would escape from it.
Name all the ways you would break yourself from a Genjutsu.

Here's all the way's that i know how to.

1. Kai
2. Pain
3. Sudden burst of chakra (full body)
4. Having a partner break you out.
5. Sharingan (for visual)

Alright, and strong smells, such as disgusting ones, or even spices, can break you out of it too.
1. Remember that Kai only works on low level Genjutsu.
2. Let's say your whole body was immobilized. How would you break out then?
3. Yes, that works, as it disturbs your flow of chakra.
4. There are three main outer forces that break you out of a jutsu, so let's emphasize on your fourth point. There are two other important ways an outer force can break you out of a Genjutsu. Do you know which ones?
5. Definitely. Avoid eye contact with Sharingan users at all time, as they are dangerous and can easily repel Genjutsu that you cast.

1. I'll remember sensei, Also it does not work on genjutsu which immobilizes you correct ?
2. If my whole body was immobilized, I would use a sudden burst of chakra to disturb my flow of chakra.

4. Pain and chakra disruption ? If it's not one of those then i don't know xd..

Yes, also, biting your tongue is also a helpful way to get out of Genjutsu. Not too hard, just hard enough to feel pain and make you bleed.
What about outer sources? How can they break you out of Genjutsu?

You can be broken out of genjutsu via having your partner (outer source) channel their chakra directly into your chakra network which causes a disruption in your chakra breaking the genjutsu, Now this partner can be a summoning, clone, bijuu, or another ninja. If you enter sage mode while under a genjutsu the gathering of the natural chakra would disrupt the genjutsu, low level genjutsu can also be broken by strong smells.

I start by sending my chakra into your chakra system disrupting it. Next i takie control of all your senses using the chakra inside of your brain, I cause you to see the ground beneath you turn into a swamp and huge trees sprout from the ground creating a dark shadow around the area, next i make you feel cold moisture in the air, i also manipulate your sense of smell to make you smell the swamp and moisture in the air, Suddenly you begin to feel and hear rain fall onto your skin and the swampy area around you, all while i create swamp and rain sound to go with the rest of the genjutsu

I would move towards you while using the trees and the shadow's to cover my movement and then i would sneak behind you swiftly knocking you in the head and unconscious.

Once again, create another environment which would cause me to use an elemental jutsu.
Then counter that jutsu with one of your own.
