Question about Hidan Kakazu combo

Why didnt Hidan lend his wep to Kakazu to obtain some of the opponents blood? We all know Kakazu is much faster and superior intelligent wise. They have the potential to beat the top tier if they coperate well.

Because Hidan is a hard-head bitch and like to himself finish the enemies, and don't care about Kakuzu's higher intelligence.

Hidan was actually really good with the scythe. I dont think Kakuzu would have been able to use it any more effectively.

Kakuzu probably doesn't have the skills Hidan has with his scythe. He's actually pretty good with it (especially when he uses his attached rope). Hidan also seems more "agile" to me, at least from their manga appearances. He was doing constant flips to avoid Shikamaru's shadow while successfully getting hits on Asuma at the same time. Even with superior speed (or so I presume) I don't think Kakuzu could pull it off quite the same way (again from manga appearances). Plus this would make Hidan pretty defenseless and would force him to rely on his secondary weapon for any offense.

Besides the idea of their teamwork is to get Hidan close to his opponent while Kakuzu attacks both of them with wide AoE jutsu.

Kakuzu may be stronger, but Hidan is better with a scythe. In fact i don't think i've ever seen someone better with a scythe than Hidan, not even Hanzo seemed better for me. Just look:

As long as he draws his opponents blood then it works. The scythe is supposedly good for a wide cutting range or something to help draw blood.

Well their combos consist of Hidan going close and Kakuzu hitting both Hidan and their target XD It wasn't Kakuzu getting blood for Hidan! Plus Hidan has his arrogant personality and love of blood/ gore and what better way then with a triple blades scythe XD! I still say together they really are hard to beat, but the story has to go on so no luck for them

Pretty much. Remember when Kakashi extracted it some of Kakuzu's blood with the vial? It still worked for his ritual

Why does everyone keep saying Hidan?

Kakuzu was only placed with Hidan because Kakuzu was an OG. He was a boss. He had a habit of killing all of his old Akatsuki partners so they found him one who would not die when Kakuzu decided to go beast mode.
