I still dont understand how Danzou got Sishuis eye

Sishui Ushiha. The man holding the most powerful genjutsu in his eyes getting beaten by Danzou? He said he tried to use KA to stop the Uchihas but Danzou didnt trust him and took his eye. But how? How did Danzou figure out what he planned to do? Why didnt Sishui fight in order to protect himself? Why didnt finally Itachi use KA as Sishui tried?
Sishui is often ranked equal as Itachi. Using this logic it is actually clear Sishui>Danzou (without sharingan/Izanagi, only wind jutsus and maybe some weak wood release)

Yes, thats what the Manga says. (maybe not the part with Hiruzen)
But i dont understand how it came so far that Danzou could take his eye. It should be easy for him using his ms sharingan, defeating an old wind element user. (sasuke raped him even with izanagi+senju cells)

after sasuke faught the kages danzo ran out of the sumit with his comrades .Ao ran after him
and was caught ina trap that would have killed him and then one of danzo men would retreave his byuakugan chapter 469

This was a genjutsu if im not wrong. I dont think someone from the Uchiha clan known to have the strongest genjutsu + ms trapping into such a "primitive" jutsu

He probably used talked no jutsu and got his eye like Madara did from his brother.

Shisui gave it up willingly. That is why you never hear anyone but an Uchiha say it was taken. They clearly are just jealous.

Shisui was all about the village and would have done what was needed, including betray his clan to protect them. You even see the Uchiha question Shisui's death because they thought he was soooo loyal to them.

So danzo says he can do better with that eye and that Shisui can help his village by pretending he is dead.

Shisui agrees but does not trust Danzo fully so talks to Itachi and gives him his other eye. Shisui then goes off and dies.
