Gaara lose any chakra reserves since the extraction ?

I don't recall Gaara using the 1 tails too recover faster... (such as Naruto did when hit by the ice bloodline limit user back pre-Shitpudding) so I can't say for sure if Gaara ever had that option, as, as far as I'm aware, Gaara only got a chakra boost from the tailed beast when he was unconscious... And yes, Naruto has a second healing option -- but that's not as instant as the Kyubii's healing ability. (Jennu DNA ).

So, has Gaara's chakra reserves went down? Or is it moot as he only be adorned from the 1 tails when he wasn't in control... (Naruto would have a bit more self control if memory serves?)

Methinks he has not, though. Though he may of had the potential like Bee... (but prolly not to the extent of Naruto himself, as Bee didn't get cool physical upgrades as Naruto has gotten).

the 9tails have an incredible life force, seen when it affects wood-style, and that is what heals naruto I believe... so it probably isn't the case with all bijuus

Gaara chakra was unaffected, he was just naturally born with a good chakra reserve/life force (like most jinchurikis)

Remember the shukaku didn't do any good for Gaara, it made him insomniac, gave him horrible feelings and made him do bad things. He is far better off without the shukaku. His sand control is also better then the shukakus, thats noted when his own father (someone who fought the shukaku several times) mistook his sand wave as "the shukakus, and its gotten stronger".

so we can actually conclude Gaara> Shukaku

S/N if you still doubt his chakra reserve think about this, he's been fighting since the beginning of the war and hasn't stopped until he was defeated a couple chapters ago.

He gained chakra reserves in the contrary since i remember that Kakashi said that a Jinchuriki needs a huge quantity of chakra to maintain the Beast sealed inside him, and that because of that, if Naruto didn't had Kyubi, he would have had more chakra in base. However, the fact he lost a Tailed Beast(who is considered as a monster only made of chakra), he obviously has less chakra than before when he had to use the Tailed Beast power and chakra

I think that Gaara had very limited control over his Bijuu. Whenever he had transformations (partial or full BM) he was not really in control, it was more of a rampage.

That said, while I'm sure his chakra reserves (in total) decreased with the removal of the Bijuu, it didn't really affect his ability to fight due to his already potent chakra levels. (from his mom's love or something mushy like that xd)

Also, it stands too reason that (like Naruto) would not his chakra go up, as it takes resources too maintain the tailed beast too make it not breakfree ? Or was Naruto the exception with them seals his dad put in place...

When Karura became pregnant with Gaara, the Fourth Kazekage had Chiyo to seal Shukaku into Gaara while he was still in the womb. Which means she was not it's Jinchuuriki.

If you wonder where Shukaku was before he was sealed inside Gaara, he was sealed in a kettle.

gaaras seal it seemed was just some random seal that did not allow chakra to leak in...so gaaras reserves with shukaku are the same as vs madara, but simply he does not have any of shukakus chakra at all to be able to use(the less tails the easier to control)

this also on an unrelated note shows that if naruto didnt have kurama then he would still have huge chakra reserves as the actual reserves of a jin are unaffected, simply they have a second chakra to draw upon.

Naruto's seal was made to leak Kurama's chakra in order to help him. I don't think Gaara had that, so I believe he's as good as before.

that is right! I forgot about the leaking. ....Not speaking of leaking, but... Did you catch the mention that I and at least one other mentioned about the Jin's chakra getting a buff after the beast is removed ? (in most cases, that is), the 2nd tailed I believe, and the 8-9 are the exception, as they don't require chakra resources too maintain the beast IIRC...?
