Sword of totsuka and Yata mirror

Can they be wielded in a human form, as they are sacred god like weapons can they change size to suit, or is it just the case they are huge; because it seems too much of a coincidence they are in perfect proportion to itachi's sasunoo. Plus isn't the sword of Kusanagi the brother sword or opposite to the totsuka, which does extend to ridiculous lengths

They are both swords of kusanagi so it would make sense that since they are god like weapons they would fit the form of the user.The long cutter sword does exactly what you said it can't and even the manga shows scenes of the sword expanding to crazy lengths cite the battle itachi sealed oro for a good panel of it extending far.I think itachi wields it through suusano because suusano has a much greater range then he does also freeing up him arms for other things

no ithink that yata mirror and totsuka sword are part of itachi's susanoo,they were said spiritual weapons right,and susanoo was a spiritual armor too that's waht they said,like itachi has the sword that can seal everything,sasuke has the sword that can burn anything(amaterasu sword) and madara has the sword that can cut anything

I know this, just wondering why if there that good why don't itachi just wield them 24/7 if they can, unless he's shit at kenjutsu.

I think it's because what if he accidentally turned like hit kiame and sealed is soul. then went to tell nagato and did the same thing xd. and if you count shurikens as kenjutsu then itachi is one of the best.

but if they do absorb chakra then using them with susano'o would prove to be a difficult task. which would be more useful and it would be easier to use as a normal sword.

The totsuka sword will take any size as depending on what you have sealed that is inside the gourd. The blade is the liquid inside tthe gourd that is released and shaped, therefor is the complete opposite of a conventional sword. So yes the sword of totsuka can be wielded in human form as long as you have sealed someone inside the gourd. And yes, the sword of totsuka is said to be the best enemy against the sword of kusanagi katana that orochimaru wields. The katana can stretch far distances and transforms into a snake so that it can return to orochimaru, though it was supposedly sealed with orochimaru by Itachi's totsuka sword. Sasuke also has a sword of kusanagi chokuto which can cut through almost anything, and allow the user to wield there chakra nature (lightning) into it making it longer and sharper. The yata mirror cannot be wielded in human form as it does not adjust it's size and is not spiritual making it to heavy and big for someone to carry anyway.
