Why didn't Obito revive Rin with Nagato?

You know Rin died before Madara. So that jutsu can't depend on the time the body has been dead, don't you think?

On topic he couldn't revive her if he wanted to she died way to long ago. Madara told Orbito to use that black pole that sticks out of the Mazo statue. It contains the will of Madara brought to the physical world. Orbito was to use that as like an anchor. This way Madara could be revived fresh and young with his rinnegan eyes.

You are kinda missing the point. He meant why didn't Obito convince Nagato to revive Rin when Obito first met Nagato so Obito would still be around 12 too.

Sure this MIGHT have been a possibility but bringing Rin back doesn't solve the issue of the ninja system which was the cause. Obito is trying to change the current ninja system, what good would bringing Rin back actually do towards this goal?

Rin's death is a catalyst for changing Obito, that is all.
