So I watched sasuke vs killer bee again and I noticed after bee blasted them all with his cannon thing then they had all gathered on the water and juugo was a kid and Karin was waiting on orders and suigetsu was just fubar sasuke thought of team 7 for a split second before he used amaterasu, may not be important but I wonder why? Any ideas?

Me? I don't know. Emotional Stress is what unlock the next stages in the Sharingan or awakening certain abilities. Or @-S- has a good explanation.

Team 7 were his first real friends, if Itachi didn't show up in Konoha ever again Sasuke would have been a totally different person, having Naruto and Sakura as friends was like his therapy for being a psycho vengeful PTSD emo kid.

When he left the village he broke all ties with his friends and said vengeance is more important to me than friends. But they still meant a lot to him so when he was using Mangekyou sharringan the use for it requires the loss of a person dear to you; Itachi dying + Heibi in trouble + Memories of leaving home combined was enough to awaken his MS.
