Naruto is overrated.... What anime is the best?

Naruto is definitely not the best manga/anime, but it's still good in the eyes of many.

I personally enjoy reading manga more than I do watching animes as it takes less time, and I can read it at my own pace without having to deal with fillers or problems with the animation. With that said I've read a lot more mangas than I've watched animes, and out of all of them I'd have to say Berserk and Shinigami of The East are some of my all time faves along with Full Metal Alchemist. Not gonna bother listing all the reasons as to why, just go take a look at them for yourself.

I like watching anime a lot more. Generally more with short anime though. I generally only read one piece,naruto,and bleach. But all the other anime i rather watch them. I love the animations with bleach anime.If a anime has sucky animation i just wont watch it.
I love full metal alchemist. It was a very good anime. I definitely liked its plot twist.

i'm gonna say you should watch hitman reborn or fairy tail. but keep in mind the first twenty episodes of hitman reborn are crap but after that its perfect in every way

i like onepiece but on all manga sites i have looked at its been naruto #1 bleach #2 one piece #3

yeah it changes though. Sometimes bleach will be first or one piece will be. I have seen fairy tail be first.

I read fairy tail but its a little hard to watch though. In my opinion it has the best character design in all anime. Second is bleach.
The characters are all different except for some of the girls. But the characters do look cool

Agreed, short animes are almost always a treat as far as animation goes (Samurai Champloo, Zetman, Cowboy Bebop, etc). It's generally the longer series that aren't as consistent with the animation. Which is understandable, I can imagine it'd get pretty expensive having every episode look like a movie.

Well if you don't like Naruto, don't watch it? it's really simple, but I don't get how the plot is flawed because gaara forgot to tell Naruto that Sasuke injured all the Samurai. You make Naruto almost seem like real life, it's manga and I don't think you realize how they work. If hinata were to die, he would lose many Hinata fans let alone the whole NaruHina predictions. Edo having unlimited chakra is part of Naruto, it's not a plot hole, and it doesn't make them more powerfull than a bijuu, which shows that you're retarded. There's no manga you will ever read that's going to be perfect, there's always something you will dislike while others like it. I feel like you're almost going to tell Kishi to re-write the story line in your favor. What a little kid -rep for being so ignorant and childish.

I think trying to rank things numerically in terms of which is "best" is kind of stupid to begin with, at least in many cases, like manga/animes/movies/music. All of these things are subjective and everyone has different tastes. A better question would be what is your favorite anime. I've watched quite a few anime's in my day and i don't even really have one i would consider the best and above all the others.

Lately i have been enjoying full metal alchemist brotherhood. Far better than the original full metal alchemist anime. I havent even finished it yet and have already concluded that. The plot is much better. I think it's supposed to be more based off the manga than the first FMA anime was, at least i feel like i remember hearing that somewhere. I havent read the FMA manga though so i don't know how close it is.

I also watch one piece on occasion, its alright. I think its incredibly overrated tbh, not bad, but overrated. Maybe I just haven't gotten to the good parts yet though. I've only watched like 50 episodes or so, but i've yet to see all the hype with it. Also the art style kinda turns me off a little. It seems like its something that takes getting used to.

wow - repping someone for their opinion -_- Whats the point of making a manga have similar situations that appear int he real world if the characters make realtables decisions. Jeez i hope you feel better though.

Yeah i always liked shorter anime. Even the older ones like Cowboy Bebop had excellent animaton quality.
Though sometimes the endings of a great anime makes me feel empty.

Yeah i really like Code geass. It alwasy tried to end an episode off with a twist even if it was just a situation with lelouch kissing that girl that liked him. I did apperciate the effort to end the episode with twist.

i agree with some points, i think the reason why naruto is the top anime is coz of part 1, am i the only 1 who thinks the fights in part 1 were so much better than in part 2? part 2 may have better jutsu but in part 1 the story was kinda better. and also in part 1, they didn't have to explain every move they made xd.

Posting about hating naruto in a naruto forum was always risky lol.... But i take your point about some of the frustrations of 'naruto'. In short, i haven't enjoyed an anime minute for minute as much as DeathNote. It is vastly shorter than naruto etc... and hence perhaps has more of an impact but naruto has a fairly diverse universe and lots of inteteresting back story.
