Is it just me, or was team 7 overreacting with Zabuza.

Alright, so as you know, the first REAL villain in the show was Zabuza. (Mizuki isn't honorable enough) When they were fighting him it seemed like the biggest challenge of their lives. During it, Kakashi almost died. But in the later battles, they treated them the same as the Zabuza fight. In the fight with Pein, Kakashi died. He treated it like the fight with Zabuza. So was Kakashi not even trying? I mean, Zabuza was part of the 7 ninja swordsmen. :ghehe:

This is the guy who killed all of his team-mates people!! Was it just that that made him seem tough? He wasn't even powerful! I don't know why Kabuto even bothered to bring him back. It's just terrible.

So, what are your guys' opinions on this? Lamest antagonist for me. Sad story, but terrible.

Don't hate me :T_T:

Yes, but if he's that weak, i don't understand why Kabuto would use edo tensei on him... It's just.... Weird........

Nah I don't think he's too bad. Silent killing is a pretty efficient assassination technique to have, and Zabuza even has enough experience to bypass the whole "cover each others' blind spots in a circle!" tactic. He also has a lot of other water style jutsu too, meaning a solid offense along with support techniques like water clones to trick the enemy. The guy's not stupid too, he knew perfectly well that Kakashi could copy his water technique, and calculated one step ahead of him. This mistake was what brought Kakashi into a corner after all. He has general kenjutsu abilities too, meaning that his close quarter combat offenses are going to be much more lethal than hand to hand combat.

Mind you, Zabuza was the chess piece that the 7 swordsmen were relying on to maintain the advantage in battle. Once he was defeated, the Alliance instantly got a good break.

...That makes sense... But I don't understand how anyone could use Zabuza, I mean, he would probably try to kill them if he knew he was being used. Gato is an exception because he was trying to get money, and knew he had to be used...

that's exactly the point! No one could! Zabuza was a rouge and while he worked for Gato we see how that ended...with one dead Gato XD Kabuto only controlled him via edo tensei!!!

Although before that he was a member of Kirigakure's seven swordsman as a high ranking anbu level shinobi ^.^ back then he just followed orders I guess...and we know how that ended too

Zabuza isn't weak by far, but he had the disadvantage because the sharingan is just super strong. Without Kakashi's expirience w/ hidden mist tech, sharingan, and knowing Zabuza's style the fight is just that much harder!

And honestly I think he is stronger than Hidan as the hidden mist would baffel him seeing as Hidan fights recklessly and uses the shock of immortality to his advantage!
