He doesn't have Orochimaru's DNA or DSM because the only reason he was compatible to use DSM was because of Orochimaru's DNA. He still has Jugo, Karin, and Suigestu's DNA most likely but he might not be able to control it like he did.

Orochimaru took back his chakra which has nothing to do with the dna he injected himself with he still has the sound 5 abilities he still has the taka abilities he still has his sage mode and he still knows the edo tensei.Even though juugo clearly stated all oro was doing was taking back chakra and releasing the sage state people still somehow got the idea oro siphoned his powers.Then they tried daying kabuto could not use edo because all the souls were sealed,not all the souls were sealed and even if they were they were sent back to the pure realm all the crack they been smoking made them mistaken the sealing teams clothe binding justu with reaper death seal that locks away your soul forever.When kabuto gets out(which can only be when he has his revelation/epiphany)he will not use edo since it would not be his justu and he would of learned is lesson by then.the fact the chapter cuts to another ninja who grew up in the orphanage proves kabuto is not meant to die he will see the error of his ways.

Nowhere in the manga or the wiki does it state is "the glue that holds everything together" He gets an increase in chakra with oros dna but he also gets an increase in chakra from juugo as his dna lets hims absrob natural energy without assistance.The dna obtained from oro does indeed let him control more edo overall but not actually necessary to perform it in general which is important to note because that is a major difference.
