Hey! I know NBers don't read SK, but I'm doing this anyway.
What's this? Basically I'm re-reading the manga, so I'll put my fav moments of each arc, as well as some comments and some analysis...if there's something to analyze.
So..I'll start with two first chapters. As a matter of fact, Intro arc goes till chap 5 in my opinion, but since these first chaps are a bit long, I divided it in two secs. This is the first one.
Chapter 1-The boy who dances with ghosts
-Summary:In few words, the main characters (Manta and Yoh) are introduced. Also they explain what a shaman is, as well its abilities (well, part of them).
-Comment: This one was the most lol chapter in the entire SK xd
I enjoyed re-reading it. I couldn't stop laughing.
Yoh's proper introduction. He looked kinda like a serious and bad boy (lolololol xd). Also Manta's face...xd his mouth is basically a "O"
Another funny moment. Yoh is standing, staring at the river three hours lololol And Manta loses his patience and gets >>busted<<...xd
He! Amidamaru looks like beast! *Epic*
Extra >.<
Ryu looked quite grotesque...didn't he?
Chapter 2-The waiting samurai
-Summary: Well, basically Yoh reveals the purpose of his trip to Tokyo (well, part of it), and tries to befriend Amidamaru, so they both can fight together.
-Comment: It was somehow interesting, because of the way Takei-san portrayed the Japan of 600 years ago. It had kinda the atmosphere of Rashōmon. And also, it was very funny!
Just like Manta said: He looked kind of cool...till he asked Amidamaru in a very carefree way xd
I loved the panel where Yon ask Mosuke "Is that all?"...lololololol

Well, Kang Zeng Bang means Complete edition. The reason of its existence is that SK was cancelled around 2004 I think, nonetheless fans demanded to the Jump a proper ending for the series (fans know), so finally they released vol 32 in 2005, which came with the entire re-print of the series (Takei-san re-drew everything it seems...but I can't find the re-drawn ed
..I need (xd) to buy Kang Zeng Bang...Also they are these new awesome covers...).
So basically I bring ya the "new" cover for vol. 1 as well the extra material:
