Sasuke doesn't have to stay in Konoha to be at peace with Konoha or to be complementary with Naruto... he could be in exile or go on an adventure like Jiraiya and Tsunade... maybe he could go on some exile mountain to learn to redeem himself... maybe another village could adopt him... Naruto can protect the village and if, let's say, it might come to a point where he and Sasuke can share thoughts or stay in contact even in different worlds, then there is no need for Sasuke to be physically in Konoha...

Obito is consumed with delusion but I see him maybe having a bit of a change of heart, maybe Kakashi will die with him (most likely). And I really like your theory, because many people think Sasuke will stay on the dark side forever but I just don't see it that way. It's as if no one here has been reading the last few chapters where Sasuke is seeking after the truth instead of mercilessly killing (which he only did to Danzo). The awakening will happen, and it will be awesome to see.
