Ok So This manga proved two main things
1. You have to have Senju & Uchiha DNA to awaken the Rinnegan & control Gedo.
2. The only people that have TRULY awakend the rinnegan were the Sage & Madara.

Now To my question. How is Nagato able to control the Gedo Statue? I know he is an Uzumaki which are distantly related to the Senju, But Where did his Uchiha DNA come from? When Madara gave him his eyes did that somehow give him his DNA? Now if you say Yes, by that logic if we gave Yamato a sharingan or rinnegan then he could control Gedo.

This has been bugging me since yesterday, So someone explain this to me.

1st I believe u dont need Senju DNA in order to unlock rinnengan, it is uchiha sharingan final stage, after EMS u can get rinnengan. But yes u need Senju Dna in order to control Gedo. About other things i dunno, good question.

The Manga explains it perfectly. He can summon it and control it with his related type. He also has enough power to summon it. And with his Senju DNA he can control it. Same as Obito but he can't because he does not have the Renniegan but he does have Senju DNA!

I thought you had to have senju DNA but not the rinnegan to control gedo. As seen in the quote where Madara says even if you do not awaken the rinnegan you can still control mazou.

So you can say that it is senju DNA that you need in order to control gedo mazou. I think Madara just needed the rinnegan to break the gedo out of the moon prison.

But if you do need Uchiha DNA then he does have Madara's eyes which would have his DNA in them with Nagato's blood pumping through the eyes he would obviously pickup some DNA in the process.

Oh god. You need Senju DNA. The Senju and the Uchiha were one. He unlocked it at the time of his death and summoned the Gedo Mazo. You need Senju DNA TO EVEN CONTROL IT. NAGATO IS A UZAMAKI AND THUS CAN CONTROL IT. UCHIHA DNA IS DIFFERENT ONLY WITH THE EYES.

The Senju are the "body" of the sage and the Uchiha are the "eyes" of the sage so to become able to control the gedo mazou you need both the "body" and the "eyes"

Why do you people say you don't need senju dna to awaken rinengan when Madara clearly states u need both senju and uchiha dna to awaken rinnengan?

Or is it that you just can't accept it? if so thats sad
