[Discussion] About Madara and Izanagi( MOST READ)

First of all i want to say hi guys, this is my first post and thread, i readed many threads some i loved very much some was piss of sh*t. Thx guys for awesome threads, sorry for my english, my english very bad haha.


I have a question, I'm never seen thread about it so i wanted to ask u guys.


So we all know about Izanagi, to use Izanagi u need both the powers th senju and the uchiha, im right ? yes..

Old Madara had senju DNA so why he did not use Izanagi on himself to make a young, healthy, undamaged body? he had many sharingans, so he could used it? what do you think guys?

it seems that Sharingan Izanagi is different than the SO6P's, it's only rewrite your death :shrug or that's what I think

It's a genjutsu cast upon oneself that removes the boundaries between reality and illusion within your personal space, it doesnt work before you have activated the jutsu so you can't fix anything before the activation. I believe that senju Dna is only required to prolong the effects of izanagi making the eye stay open longer before closing.

Not sure about the young and healthy part, but if your referring to why he didn't use this in his battle with Hashirama to avoid damage to his body, it is probably because his EMS is too valuable to waste an eye on Izanagi. These are the same eyes he would use to awaken the Rinnegan, so no way is he giving that up.

no, I mean not hashirama vs madara fight, but when he was old man, why dont he use it, injury(wound) or even death, caster can turn a dream into a reality. He can use Izanagi to make hes wound from the battle against hashirama just a dream.

I agree with part, he cant make himself younger, I was wrong.

Here it says ( A Teachnique that can ONLY be used, by someone possessing both uchiha and senju powers. So i think senju DNA needed to use Izanagi.

oh you are right, but you still cant change whats happened before the jutsu was cast

Here you can see Danzo activating Izanagi with the seals. A few pages prior too that you can see him releasing the jutsu and then have to deflect Susanoo's arrow instead of taking it straight on.

In this one it pretty much sums up that its a time limit on how long an eye can stay open and Danzo says that he cant risking releasing the tecnique which implies that if he releases it he can die.

First of all Madara only had one Sharingan in his right eye socket.

Second of all that's not how Izanagi works..it lets you rewrite something that occurred while the jutsu is active..so he can't revert his body to a younger body.
