why the hell did tobi (obito) help itachi kill the uchiha ??

i don't know if anyone asked this before ..... but why did he do that ?? :shrug:
we already know that itachi was the one who understood why the elders of konoha waned the uchiha clan exterminated (he saw him self as a shinobi of konoha not only the uchiha so he did it for the greater good). Now madara was a proud uchiha and obito was his student (from what we've seen so far) so why did obito agree on the extermination of his clan when they did nothing to him ?? please tell me if am missing something

i would like to add that madara was a very proud uchiha so even if the uchiha did turn their backs on him, he wouldn't agree on their extermination and leave the rest of the village alive (HE IS AN UCHIHA) and he wouldn't agree on it specially when they finally tried to do what he always waned them to do witch is take over .....

He did it to obtain all the Sharingan. He had only one back then, probably. Also he had to be careful not to be unmasked by Itachi so he helped him

Obito didnt kill any of them i believe he put up a powerful genjutsu thus giving itachi and edge because as far as we seen only itachi

killed any of them off we havent seen obito admit to actually killing any of them.

i already thought of that but from what we have seen, nagato was with on obito and madara's side so i don't think that obito would feel threatened with nagato on his side so ..... i still don't know why he helped itachi ??

What do we know what the sharingan that poses a threat to Obito's plan? They have the power to tame at least Kurama, although im sure any tailed beast that be manipulated via sharingan. I dont think he did it out of angry, He merely wanted to avoid the risk of a uchiha interferring. The last chapter revealed that obito wants the dream world for everyone... So by killing them, he gets them out of the way until he brings them back in the dream world! Just my thoughts anyway!

dude shringans don't work that way, and the sharingan ability to control tailed beasts is extremely rare that we only know of two who did it (madara and obito a student of madara) if controlling the tailed beasts was so easy with a sharingan then the uchiha would have been the leaders not senju

Im not sure if this is true, but i think he helped because madara felt betrayed by the uchiha when they formed an alliance with the senji to create the hidden leaf. Also, i think that madara had a plan to revive all the uchiha with nagatos jutsu that revives the dead. The 3rd hokage said it himself, if the uchiha was to attack they would be incredibly hard to deal with.
